View Full Version : Need help with Evil Soloing Predator
<div></div><div>My main is a 51 Mystic. I decided to make an alt and went with an evil kerra scout and he is currently LVL 18. I have had a tremendous amount of fun with him. Now I know what DPS stands for! LOL. The only down side to my evil scout is that I have had to solo him the entire time. For some reason, groups are very hard for me to find on the evil side. On occasion, an individual or two will want to group with me, but thats it. I feel like I will be soloing him for a while and was hoping to learn some tricks to preparing him for soloing, since I really did not solo my Mystic at all and thus dont know a lot about soloing. I know at lvl 20 things will change a lot for me and a lot of doors will open as far as equipment I can equip. I am having a friend make me a full set of Carbonite Armor. Things I am thinking of are - what kind of poisons should I use at LVL 20 and where can I get them? Is there any good totems I should get to use for buffs? Are there any specific CA's that I should really look at upgrading? Should I have Adept 3's made? Is there a zone on the evil side that I should look at going to at LVL 20? I have spent all of my time in CL and Wailing Caves. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.</div>

<div></div><div>As with all classes, gear and spells are going to make a lot of difference -- not only for you when you solo, but also for your groupmates. The evil side is underpopulated on Mistmoore, and I assume on most other servers too. When you get into your mid-high 20s and low 30s you can start visiting places that have more crossover from Qeynos, and more group opportunities.</div><div> </div><div>Poisons -- You want to keep a good (Legendary, player-made) poison active all the time. It's money well spent, the poison will proc 25% of all hits including ranged combat and combat arts attacks. You get them on the BROKER or take up Alchemy and make your own. Vendor bought poisons are significantly less powerful, but are better than no poison at all - you can get vendor poisons at any general products merchant (the ones that sell bags, food, torches, etc).</div><div> </div><div>Upgrade all combat arts that deal damage, debuff mobs, buff yourself. Pretty much everything. On Mistmooore, Assassin and Brigands are few and far in between, and consequently spells seem to be pretty cheap and easily obtained. My Assassin has been fortunate to have mostly Adept III and Master I spells -- mostly masters.</div><div> </div><div>Denzel Nightwalker, 52 Assassin of Soul Harvest, Mistmoore</div>
