<div></div><div></div>First off, this topic should be viewed from a pvp-centric perspective. Thus, regarding duels as well as the upcoming pvp server. The reason for my questions is, that I didn't really care about see stealth/invis so far. Ergo, I don't know too much about these mechanisms.I do know, that we use stealth, which can be seen by Rogues (i.e. Swashs and Brigands). Also I am aware of totems which grant see Invis or Stealth (5 charges for 15min each).First question: Which further ways of seeing our stealth exist, and which classes can use them?Second one: How do these totems work?Do I lose my stealth as soon as I am in the radius of an appropriate Totem? Or does the player only see me in stealthed form, and has to attack me first in order to break my stealth? How about in-combat stealths? Can I still use shroud-attacks and such, or are they totally useless while in the radius of a see-stealth totem?Maybe someone was less ignorant to these mechanics, than I have been all the time.<div></div><p>Message Edited by Vindicare on <span class="date_text">01-24-2006</span><span class="time_text">03:59 AM</span></p>

<div></div><font color="#ffff00">To someone using the butterfly totem, you appear shrouded, as you see yourself. You can still use your shrouded attacks, even if they can see you. Therefore, you can cheap shot them, get behind them, and shroud attack. Although against a wary enemy, your stealth wont last long, as you will likely be attacked very quickly after dropping into stealth. In combat stealths still work fine, in my duel vs. assassin experience. </font>

<div></div><p>Recently I have been messing around in the maj'dul arena. Had about 14 people at once in a team death match so far.</p><p>Anyway, when I am in the arena, no one has been able to see my stealth. This includes brigands and swashbucklers, neither were able to see it.</p><p>However, as an assassin in stealth mode, I was able to see any mages that had cast invis on themselves. Again, they could not see me.</p><p> </p><p>Also a guardian was getting annoyed that i was sneaking around ambushing him heh, so he brought an invis totem and was like "ha now you cant see me either."</p><p>He was sadly mistaken.</p>

rogues (swashies for sure) get see stealth with our stealth but its broken (like our class defining skill), and as far as i can tell its never worked.../cheer soethough when lu 19 hits its supposed to be back to normal, but they are taking away our ability to use weapons in our main hand, we have to use a yo-yo instead<div></div>
Just as a point of interest, fast casting AEs and AE pets should be considered when talking about stealth in a PvP environment. These can be very effective counters to our use of stealth.<div></div>
