<div></div><div>*also similiar post on bruiser forums*</div><div> </div><div><div>After many posts on varies duos (thanks to ALL that took the time to reply) my wife and I have chosen a bruiser/assassin combo. Was wondering what the fellow assassins thought about this combos effectiveness/ability to duo? We are not looking to take down epic mobs or anything, just looking to make this duo effective for leveling up/questing our toons. Any feedback is welcome and thanks again for putting up w/ the tedious number of posts on duos in other forums.</div></div><p>Message Edited by Warrage on <span class="date_text">01-16-2006</span><span class="time_text">12:59 PM</span></p>

The Bruiser/Assassin duo is a reasonable duo combo. Similar with having an SK tank for an Assassin, having a tank with some amount of self-heal is handy when duoing. Further, as long as you can put your Apply Poison and aggro transfer buffs on them you should be able to make a tank out of just about any fighter class.I've enjoyed grouping with my Bruiser guildmate although we rarely duo.I can't say much about Monks as I haven't had much opportunity to XP with our Monks.<div></div>

paladin / assassin might work, paladin recast time on heals are pretty fast, not sure about bruiser's healing.<div></div>

<div>If you want to start at the top of the power curve, I might suggest a Bruiser-Ranger or Bruiser-Swashbuckler/Brigand combo.  If you want to stay in the All-Evil brigade then Brigand is of course the choice there.</div><div> </div><div>The Assassin is a decent class to be sure but the Brigand may offer more to a duo/exp/quest-centric small group. </div><div> </div><div>Mire, 57 Assassin</div><div>Vaden, 60 Paladin</div><div>Butcherblock</div>

I've been playing with a Bruiser+Dirge combo and it's very cool. Dirge defensive and offensive buffs along with mana song make it a very strong combo. Adding the noxious resist song to a bruiser's defensive stance makes them pretty darn resistant.<div></div>

<div>Bruiser in Defensive stance can hold agro like no one's business.  No matter how hard i tried to pull agro off i couldnt. i did so much DPS that it was great.  We were taking on Cyclops 1-2 lvls above us and all were ^^^</div><div>We did fairly well together.  didnt even need to get a healer.</div>

<div>I dont know...how can u argue with 2 classes that could prety much stun a mob for the entire fight.....My little ratonga bruiser alt was able to solo the first ^^^ named for operation green hood decently....(mob 2 levels bellow me)...bruiser brig sounds like a combo made in heaven</div><div> </div><div>Oh and BTW the bruiser mitigation for hp buff works wonders in certain situations....never vs caster mobs...allways against grouped mobs that are mele heavy, VS casters it seems like you gota burn them before they do (bruiser defensive stance strength is avoidance and added mitigation...vs caster mobs that means nothing)....so quick switch to offensive, stun and then use hundred fist (or other multi hit CA with 2hb)...probably dead or half dead after that</div><div> </div><div> </div>
