The worldwide rank is crap since it features numbers that are impossible to achieve. These numbers where obtained on lvl 6 ppl who were debuffed and by assassins that were fully buffed. That's why you see hits that scored 80k dmg.. in any case, in groups just have a Brigand debuff a mob then use your biggest stab. Having others buff your str helps but in my experience not as much as the first option.<div></div>

We weren't fully buffed, far from it. But the fact that the Highest Melee Hit ranking boards are crap is a very accurate statement.If you want to see some big numbers, I admit it is fun to compete with yourself and others, make sure everyone is getting their mitigation debuffs in. Having a Brigand in group is a huge asset, around level 50 both SKs and Brigands have significant debuffs (group for the SK, single-target for the Brig) and in the upper 50s the Brigand can put together an impressive stack of single-target debuffing.Enjoy!<div></div>

<div></div><p>I agree that the top end of the boards are crap but I'm in the top 35 on my server and it was done during a normal group fight.</p><p>I don't raid so I have no clue how that would impact a number but I know gettin in as many debuffs before using one of your big hits helps.</p><p> </p><p>Also If you want prolly the biggest and cheapest temp STR buff in game look into potions. I believe the handcrafted version in tier 6 adds like 45-50 STR and if you have an alchy its can be real cheap.</p>

<div>Unfortunately I got caught in that bug.  I was in Willow Wood waiting for an adept 3 to be made, and a paladin got really upset that there was an assassin in Qeynos and he dueled me.. He was like level 30 something, and deathly blade dropped him for about 40k.  The next day my high hit showed as 80k.. *shrugs*</div><div> </div><div>My real high hit was in Fountain of Life and it was just over 13100 damage with assassinate.  Still impressive.  I wasn't even at 400 strength either! Brigands 4tw!</div>

<div>Yea my hit that put me at #2 was bascially out of curiousty. I remebered at around level 54 i checked the board and saw those huge numbers, and had no clue how they were done until some ranger told me how he had a 20k hit. I tried it to see if it was true and low and behold next morning i had an 80k+ hit although i only remebered my highest being 60k. It was fun for maybe the first 3 days when it funny to see who could exploit the bug the best, but now it sucks because no matter what i do i can never top that. <div></div><p>Lol what hapened to me is a guildy told me what was goind on that she had hit a condeming for like 40k i was kinda sceptic......then i did it and got 69k from assassinate......atm we having fun without thinking the game would actualy register them....sad thing is that i would be in top 10 of my server (top 5 at least) of high hit being i have had some amazing assassinates with brigands / sk mele debuffing</p><p>I still there is an easy way to sort "real" high mele from "fake"</p><p>Just they sort which ones were done to NPC and which ones to PC...only count the ones done to NPC presto!!</p>

After agreeing that these high hits were total trash on the Assassin channel one day, I challenged Miksar to see how high we could get. The idea was to get as much notice as possible, it was obviously broken but not being acknowledged. Miksar is TEH SUCK.<div></div>
