Weapon upgrade question

The ebon sai's base dps is much higher than both weapons, and i think ill prob come out about +6 or so str than my current 2 weapons, but still, worried about the proc. Is the best bet to test it out on my own?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Or is the anwser more situational? like If i solo more, stick to the ebons? group more.. still hold onto the PGT? Any input is greatly appreciated, thanks for any replies!</DIV>

<P>alot of my scout friends have ebon weps but they always keep the pgt in the bag just incase the dmg absrob proc has been nerfed whch sucks but its always handy if u think you may need to off tank ,take some dmg etc</P> <P>but yeah use ebon over them but keep the PGT in the bag:smileyhappy: </P> <P> </P> <P>i just got mine gotta wait 1 more lvl to use it heh</P>

keep the PGT in ur bag, If i were u though i'd still use PGT unless u get pristine forged ebon weapon and ssoy or SBD, the proc itself made out a lot especially when in a fast killing group, where power cannot recover faster than pull/kill. For me, i switch out PGT whenever im under power for a fast pulling group.

When I got my SBD and SSOY I had the same questions as yourself. I kept, and still keep, my PGT in a bag with me 'just in case', but I can honestly say that from 42-49 I have not once used it, especially now after the patch where our stances make us much more 'adaptive' to combat. Shame, its a lovely weapon, and a lovely proc, and it saved myself plenty of times, but I find that I do fine without it <div></div>

The PGT was a great weapon back then, when bows could trigger its proc, be it soloing or in rare circumstances where "every bit" counts. Sooner or later you are going to collect multiple weapons for different situations, 2 slashing, 2 piercing weapons are a must-have sooner or later, weapons that grant power, weapons that offer damage-procs.. I can count the occasions I used it on one hand when I reached 50, but on those occasions I wouldn't have succeeded in my ill-gotten gains without it ^^ <div></div>
