Assassin lvl 28 Armor (AQ, Crafted or Drops)?

<DIV>Hey all,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I just dinged 28 and am looking at my armor, and wandering what is out there that I should be using.  I have only one (gloves) of the lvl 20 AQ from East Freeport, I have legs and helmet of Mist Grinnin Chain and the rest is ods and ends some quested and other bought.  Now with the armor all conning red, white or grey, It is very difficult to tell what is or isn't good for my level anymore.  My Current Chest piece (Gawar's Cuirass) that was 138ac prior to the patch dropped to ~93 ac after the patch.  Before that I was using a Tunic I can't remember the name but it was around 108-109ac and dropped to 71.  My Mist grinning leggings now have more AC than my chest piece.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>What should I be wearing?  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Are there quested pieces, crafted pieces, dropped pieces that are better than others at high 20's low 30's?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Is there a place to go to see Really how armor pieces truly con?  EQ2 Database sites still show OLD armor Stats.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyone help would be much appreciated.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Phae</DIV>

<P>Enchanted grove aromor, which drops in the enchanted lands from random mobs near the docks, has pretty good stats but it's level 31.  I'm in the same boat as you are, but just keeping my stuff until I can use a suit of that,since I don't really want to drop the money for just a few levels of play.  Just doing solo hunting quests there from 29 on will get you alot of cash and the eventual armor drops. </P>

Go for feysteel, most of the rest isn't worth talkin about at that lvl...or at least I dont remember sth that is <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>

<P>Thanks all,</P> <P>I went to the market and looked into chest pieces for Assassins.  I couldn't find much in my price range... only had about 16g, but amazingly I found an Ebon Eye Hide Vest for just over 1g and snatched it up quickly.  It is better than what I had and may compare to the Cold Link (East Freeport Quested Armor).  I think this 1g investment wil pay off handsomely.  I now feel a bit more comfortable getting into places where hopefully  I can pull in a bigger bank roll.</P> <P>Phae</P>
