<DIV>Hey all</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Found this quest last night but at work n cant remember its proper name.  Something like the Trial of Tah summit or other.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyhow, to the point.  Basically he gets you into his bottle and he makes you do a kinda combat trial.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>"lets start off easy and have a warm up" he says and you have to stand on a spot to start the first trial.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Stood there and a mass of scorpions appear, blue mobs to me at 50 and beat the snot out of me in about 20 seconds.  Didnt even really have time to count how many there was but was about 4 or 5 (that I saw) all hitting for 30-90+ every hit.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I have pretty decent gear and was in offensive stance for damage output (our dodge n mitigation are now shocking, anyone noticed that???).  It was late so didnt get time to retry it with a defensive stance but from initial looks this looks like another Splitpaw pit champion quest to me (I could be wrong, as I say only tried it the once and slightly unprepared as to what was going to come).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Asked in the channels and found a Paladin that "walked through it with ease".  Are we still unbalanced with other classes?  Havent had much play time as our server seems to crash every 15 minutes and rollbacks everytime it comes back up (hurrah for Splitpaw server!)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As we dont have many frontal attacks and most use stealth if we fight multi mob encounters it seems we are toast (and now we are crap for kiting right?).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyone else tried it?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

I haven't tried that quest.. but you confirm there really is a problem for assassin in these combat situations as I said there <a href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=40&message.id=7516" target=_blank>http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=40&message.id=7516</a> I hope it will be fixed .. there's no way assassins and most scout class can play like that. <div></div>

Try defensive stance I did that quest last night (the reward sucks) but it wasn't hard when I used my defensive stance and than I learned something to that might help, make sure to use paralyzing strike and run around behind them cause they don't turn around than fire off spitting viper and assassin shot that helped a lot.

Yes that is correct, switch to Creeping Impetus stance, and be sure to use your Moor or the Trickster snare's, can bowkite a little, but mainly Paralyzing Strike and get behind mob and either Condemning Blade or Bloodthirster.Finished it on 1st try, wasn't cake, but wasn't impossible either.

"did it just fine. use sneak before standing on the carpet" Sneak wont help, cause they enter the room with aggro and see you Oo Anyways, did it with defense stance without big probs. <div></div>
