Light Armor - Medium Armor

Well, I'm a level 50 assassin, by the time you get to level 40 you could wear Handcrafted Rare Augmented Leather (which is light) that I currently wear.. I perfer it to medium because it's more Str based. My assassin already has 200 agi, and I'm coming closer and closer to getting her Str to 200 as well, so light works more in my favor on Str sense I'm not focusing on Agi anymore... Plus its waaaaaaaaaaaay cheaper than Ebon armor (which is more Agi based). It can really run both ways, the augmented stuff doesn't have all that bad a look on it either (kind of a black color with spots of a bluish design here and everywhere =P) I mean you don't have to run arround looking like one of King Arthur's throw-away knights =P <div></div>

Although ebon amor hast more mitigation, I prefer the light armor pieces. A full set of this costs as much as a ebon bp and it looks much better. Not to mention the better stats on it <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>

Dont use light unless another lower ac piece has much higher hp.

I prefer the Stat increase off of the Augmented leather myself. At least when grouping and Raiding. If I am being hit during that time then someone (either me or the tank) are not doing their job right.

<P>I think some of us have to realize that everybody isn't going to have ebon when they hit 40.  Rare light armor has just about the same mitigation as common medium .  So, if you don't have access to ebon (or your tier rare), the better choice is to go for rare light because the mitigation is the same and the stats are better.</P> <P>A full suit of rare light is a great building block.  Upgrade to ebon and fabled as you can and you can't go wrong.</P> <DIV>It's also a huge waste of money to get ebon and then get it replaced a few days later by fabled (trust me, I know).  I've got way too many ebon pieces that I just haul around for spares.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
