<DIV>Hi guys, total level 25 noob here.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I am a little confused by the Slip Away stealth special we have.  The description is as follows: "An out of combat stealth that also increases your movment rate."  When I use Slip Away, most of my stealth combat specials do not work and I get a message that basiclly saids that I need to be in stealth mode. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So what does Slip Away really do if it's not a true stealth mode for sneaking up on mobs??</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>From the description it sounds like it's some kind of escape special that allows us to break out of combat into stealth?  Is that correct?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks for any help you guys can provide.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>It is an out-of-combat stealth like the description says, which means that while in combat you cannot use it to go into stealth.  There is a version of it that is bugged and will not allow any stealth skills to be used to initiate combat, and I think that is the adept 1 version but I may be mistaken.</DIV>

yeah, I've been using slip away a ton since the Splitpaw Saga released (being that I can't take most of the quests without sneaking through a good portion of them)... and I just bought the adept 1 version of it so I could sneak *faster*... well now I have to switch the sneaks to attack through it... really freakin annoying. <div></div>

<P>After reading little bits of info here and there I think I finally got a understanding of what Slip Away does.</P> <P>There are two types of sneak out there.  The first type is a combat sneak where you use stealth to sneak up on a mob.  This type of sneak has movment penalties.  The second type of sneak is a general sneak you can use to run through groups of mobs.  This type of sneak has no to little movement penalties, but can't be use to start combat.  I believe Slip Away is part of this general sneak group.  Now I know I may not be using the correct words to describe this correctly but I think I am on the right track.</P> <P>I can't for the life of me find any offical description of the different types of sneak out there.</P> <P>Maybe someone can enlighten me?</P>

<DIV>I stand corrected then <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I figured someone would get around to providing an answer.  I do have the adept 1 version so that explains why no combat from stealth.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
