<DIV>I just tried to solo a mob in the Feerrott that I have soloed countless times.  This time however, even snared the mob was catchin gup to me and beating the c.r.a.p out of me.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I didn't see anything in patch notes on this - and have looked at recent posts in a few categories - anyone know anything about this?</DIV>

I thought it always said that - maybe now it just really does. NERF ae root on heroic mobs - level the palying field... - oops sorry - did I say that out loud?! <div></div>

heh.. I never noticed whether it said that before or not, but as of yesterday I was still kiting blue ^^ heriocs and also solo'd that beast for the EL access (the name escapes me at the moment) which I suppose would be considered a yellow^^ named mob although he seemed weaker than some others. I was lvl 29 at the time (now 30 <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> ). So, at least at my level, it can still be done. Just a lot more difficult and sometimes I have to just cut and run because they'll get to close

I was bow kiting yellow^^ heroics before the patch with little trouble, now I have some difficulty with ^^blues and ^^greens. Something changed, even if I'm not exactly sure what <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> But it's no big deal, you can still kite and gain good xp. It's just a bit harder</DIV>

In recent patches, heroic mobs have received speed bonuses to weaken ability to bow kite, and raid mobs have had major increases to speed.  Pathfinding is still the same as it has been since day 1.  <div></div>

Dont forget bow range was nerfed. Long bows have 35 range vs 37 <div></div>

I guess it may be that the bow range has been shortened, i dont know, but its kinda annoying that SOE has nerfed one of the only things that can help us solo like some other classes.</DIV>
