<DIV> <DIV>I personally love my assassin so please don't take this as a "waaaaaa, my class isn't the most powerful in the game i don't understand whyyyyyy, waaaa" post.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I just wanted to ask about the inviso lines. we get 2 of them: the see inviso line, and the faster movment stealth line*</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My question is about the faster movement stealth line, they seemed at first to go faster when skill was either upgraded or replaced with newer version. But from lvl 36 up they have a 16% snare and never increase at all.....is this correct or are the devs probably working this out at some point? Am worried that they might not even be aware of this *if this wasn't intended* and just wanted to bring up in hopes that someone could verify if this is correct or that this probably will be ironed out sometime <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> hope its an easy fix if it is not correct <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Lvl 3 sneak apprentice 1 has 66% snare</DIV> <DIV>Lvl 3 sneak adept 1 has 38% snare</DIV> <DIV>decreased snare for 28% for upgrading spell</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Lvl 22 slip away apprentice 1 has 41% snare</DIV> <DIV>Lvl 22 slip away adept 1 has 25% snare</DIV> <DIV>decreased snare for 16% for upgrading spell</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Lvl 36 Vanish apprentice 1 has 16% snare</DIV> <DIV>Lvl 36 Vanish adept 1 has 16% snare</DIV> <DIV>Lvl 40 Eolorn's Vanishing has 16% snare</DIV> <DIV>Lvl 50 Disappear apprentice 1 has 16% snare</DIV> <DIV>Lvl 50 Disappear Adept 3 has 16% snare</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>by all means please share your opinions as i'm curious as to what others think about this...tyvm for your time <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV></DIV>

<DIV>Just wondering ... anyone know why you can't cancel vanish like you can the others? I like to use it to run thru to quest npc but then have to cast something to get rid of it instead of just cancel. Not a big deal, just wondering...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>~Lovi</DIV>

With Vanish, all you have to do is click on the skill again, or use the hotkey. You will pop out of stealth. <div></div>

<DIV>I saw the Slip Away (Master I) on auction -- it's in the Vanish line.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>There was no reduction in speed while using it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Julian Granger (Juliun)</DIV> <DIV>38th level Assassin</DIV> <DIV>The Discipleship</DIV> <DIV>Antonia Bayle</DIV>

<P>yeah i personally think that the skill line is incomplete</P> <P>but worried devs may not be aware of it, but maybe they never intended it to be faster then 16% snare...dunno....seems strange to me though</P> <P>hopefully they'll read this and say if it was intended or not, if not even give us a breath of hope it'll be fixed soon <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P>
<DIV>What bugs me the most, is how they implemented the 'slow down'.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>16% speed reduction from NORMAL, UNBUFFED speed.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Since 'stealth' has it's own speed TYPE, all speed buffs don't work at all.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>While everyone else is running at 130%+, we're stuck at 84%.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Why they have 3 different speed lines is due to not wanting certain speed buffs to stack and what not.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I understand that, such as horses etc. But please, for the love of god, fix stealth speed to be on same</DIV> <DIV>line as normal speed buffs. It's rediculous. <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>And while I have the floor....</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>PLEASE, make Shadowed Form of the Assassin work worth a poop.... in first person you can't see jack with it on.</DIV> <DIV>The pig-pen effect is ok tho (not). Bleah.. o well.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

The big questin for me is why we need to be slowed at all? All the other classes that get an invis are not slowed and some can even invis the entire group. Now I could see if ours was that much more effective but I don't think i've ever noticed any greater detection of the invis in the other classes spells. As an assassin I would think that this should be our crowning achievement. Just my opinion. Nikodimus Lvl 50 Assassin Najena <div></div>

<DIV>since we are pure dmg class, i'd say, keep it as it is, but give us more DPS</DIV>

<P>My guess would be that its a bug, but that it won't get fixed until the combat changes. There have been many posts where Masters are no different than Adept I's and other problems with spell upgrades. Since they are already revamping the entire spell structure, I wouldn't expect this to get changed any time soon.</P> <P> </P>

Actually, posting in here about differences between Adept 1s and Masters is much less effective than actually submitting a bug report in game. I have submitted in-game bug reports on some of those and seen them changed within just a few days, so try it. The thing about Slip Away that really bugs ME the most if that every time I have tried to attack when using it, it will not let me. Now this is totally assinine! Any stealth mode that an Assassin has should allow him to attack a target. I don't expect him to remain in stealth mode after initiating the attack, but there is NO excuse for not being able to initiate it while in any form of stealth mode. All of the other "out of combat" stealth modes used by every over class still allow them to initiate combat. This is insane that Assassin, the Ultimate strike from stealth fighter, has a skill that prevents them from doing the same. This needs to be fixed so that we can live up to our names! <div></div>
