Need opinion - advice with 1st ebon

Hi, im a 48 assassin and I just harvest my 1st ever ebon but im in a big dilema, not sure what to do. Weapons : SBD, SSOY. I got Frost shard for slash immute and Silent sword of shattering for piercing immute. Armor : Fulg crafted, not imbue (beside boot who are ebon chainmail). If you check the dmg ration ssoy vs a imbue ebon weapon its fairly similar so I am not sure if I should go with weapon or armor. I was thinking maybe weapon to get a slow weapon (like spear) so I can get more benefic from haste from an enchanter. My 2nd choice was prolly imbue legs, basically because my guild is about to start raiding Maiden Gulch and ill prolly get a Lava forged cuirass (or whatever how its called). Any opion ? Ty in advance.

<P>If i where you i "think" i should pick a weapon (Ebon Sai) and aim for Light Armor just for the stats and good look. Check the thread  here m8, lots of good info. http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=40&message.id=5483 Personally i'd go for a weapon, leaf blade or cresent axe depending on pierce or slash is what i've got. Silent sword of shattering wont hit most raid mobs, Bone razor is the only "Treasured" weapon i know that can. Armours really a waste, go for imbued leather. Better stats than ebon chain and still higher ac than fulgenate chain. <div></div>

First Ebon I got went for Pristine Ebon BP, 2nd one I got went and got Pristine Imbued Ebon Leafblade, it was WELL worth the ebon and if you have FBSS plus your self haste the delay is not that bad and in groups with a haster it is real nice.  Reason I went for Ebon BP first is cos I do solo alot and city writs etc solo mobs it is a nice proc off the BP.  If you group more then solo go wep first. <div></div>

<div></div><div></div>If I were you I wouldn't be wasting ebon on armor until I've got two slashing and two piercing weapons that can hit raid mobs (frost shard and silent sword of shattering won't).  If you're wanting to upgrade armor look at getting rare crafted light armor instead.  Like others have said,  each piece of light armor has better stats and almost as good mitigation as the equivalent piece of medium armor, and it's a ton less expensive as well. <div></div><p> <span class="time_text"></span></p><p>Message Edited by Amise on <span class=date_text>06-03-2005</span> <span class=time_text>03:48 AM</span>
