Specialized Training (ALL) in one post

Hi guys,     Could some of you big boys thats been there and done that put  your thoughts on specialized training choices for all 10,20,30,40 for easier access. I searched the forums and have found ones for level 20 and now for level 40.  Would be helpfull Thanks in advance,  Renior <div></div>

<div></div>the point about not remembering is a good one but i think i recall my choices anyway 10. The improved snare that's also a slow. It's the only way we have to slow stuff outside of a hex doll. in the low lvls i imagine this would make soloing easier. slow isn't the powerful spell it was in eq1 but of the choices at this lvl i think this one was the best 20. harkin's stalking. no contest here in my opinion. a full speed stealth that you will use into your mid 30's 30. elaa's perforating strike (something like that) - also no contest here. it does more dmg than the comparable assassin's blade line and has a shorter recast. it's better than even condemning blade adept I. at lvl 44 , i finally stopped using this but only because i have an adept iii condemning blade now. 40. i went with the improved slice throat (elaa's something), but i was torn. i came close to going with the improved aoe slaughter. i don't have a very strong opinion on the choice here. <div></div><p>Message Edited by Graton on <span class=date_text>05-23-2005</span> <span class=time_text>09:14 AM</span>

10.  Befuddling Strike no contest.  I still use this at 50 as it shares no reuse timer with other skills and offers a chance to stifle.  Makes a great combo for self-HO.  The others aren't worth getting because they either suck or get replaced.  The snare with slow is basically useless and we get better snares later on anyway.  Yes it sounds good on paper, but put into effect, useless.  I don't remember what the other options were and that in it's self says enough about them. 20.  Harkin's Stalking no contest.  This sneak will take you to mid 30's and has no run speed restrictions.  Very cool ability and generally accepted as the "only" choice for lvl 20.  If you don't like to sneak though maybe the range upgrade is a better choice for you. 30.  Elaa's Perforating Slice...  maybe.  This is a cool ability, upgraded assassin blade with a reduced reuse timer.  Best thing in the world you say?  Heh, this whole spell line isn't very good to start with and this attack isn't much in the way of dps.  In groups that move slow this is a nice burst damage attack, but when constantly fighting this thing clocks in at about 8dps under best conditions.  Because of this and the fact that assassin blade adept 3 still does more damage (it's a burst attack anyway, might as well get the bang for the buck) you could make a pretty good arguement for selecting Neriak Slice instead of Elaa's.  This ability is better than bloodthirster at adept 3 for the first few levels you have it, so you will get some use out of it too.  But the fact is, either of these attacks are replaced by their upgrade at the same level and neither is useful at 50.  The only arguement i could see for using Elaa's is to try and get multi attacks off in a raid, but unless you had enough time to use 2 elaa and not enough time to use 2 condeming blade, you really didn't help yourself.  Actually you really didn't help yourself even if you did...  so in closing: the choice is yours for either of these, in looking back, i wish i had picked Neriak Slice when it was useful. 40.  Eloron's Vanishing!!!  No cast time, no recast time.  You can click this off and on as much as you want and make other scouts cry, and because you can you should.  I will run you by the other abilites anyway though.  Torture upgrade, sorta useful.. but anathema kicks it to the dirt and it wasn't spectacular to begin with.  Throat rip, the mana drain is worthless (like 20) and garrote or slice throat master are far better attacks(which never get used at level 50 anyway).  Slaughter, this line of attacks is rubish anyway, why want an upgrade.  The attacks are based on range of the mobs in the encounter to you, so unless you are standing in a pile of mobs and like barrage damage, these attacks aren't worth the sneak they take to cast unless you just HAVE to have the dps (maybe zek or a wizzy is making fun of you).  Shadow assult line is a better choice for attack and anything else is a better choice for a training option.  Even if you don't like to sneak, you don't really have a better choice so just go with Eloron's Vanishing. <div></div>

At 20 I took this skill which allowed me to shoot three arrows at once (Vladimins...). I never did regret it, the stealth was okay even without the Adept2 Upgrade. If you want to solo, Vladimins kicks [Removed for Content]... <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>

Yeah, took Vladimin's Volley at 20....incredible damage. You don't actually realize how much better that extra shot is till you actually take the skill. Great for kiting/soloing, but even in groups, pulling back and knocking off a quarter of the mobs health with one volley is great. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

at 10 i did the improved ambush, nice to interupt and at 50 isn't on the same timer as any other spell, still use it against casters, 20 i picked something useless... think it was the improved bleed, 30 Elaas defiantely, and at 40 i took the improved Torture, which is nice for fighting non-casters WITH casters because of the reduced spell avoidance, at 50 the interupt is nice on Anath
