<DIV>Can I eat it?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Lvl 6 cheap shot stuns target.   Cut Throat, its apparent replacement, does not stun--it stifles--and must be used from stealth which Cheap Shot does not.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Is a stifle like a stun but better, or is it a really wimpy form of stun?  I'm used to stifle meaning something like "cant cast" which isn't nearly as useful as a stun.  But if they aren't stunned, how does an assassin do the dance?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Ishnar</DIV>

<P>aren't you a SK?</P> <P>stifle is silence yes.. and cut throat lasts 10 seconds. for this duration the mob can't use specials. I think this is way more useful than crap..err cheap shot. And I don't think I've used the stun-run around method since I was in my 20s.. It's nice to silence the mob at the start of the fight so people have a chance of getting all their debuffs in before the mob starts nuking.</P>

<P>well the thing is, even at lv50 grey cheap shot still works and only costs 5 power hehe <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Kinda weird I have to say.. maybe it's considered a scout innate ability or something <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> I wouldn't be surprised if this was changed in the revamp.</P> <P>The reason why I (well and most people to my knowledge) don't bother with this "trick" anymore, is cause at higher levels there are just better tools and ways to solo.</P> <P>When I want to grind some cash I just go to deer in EF, run up to one, spitting viper->faltering blast->assassin's shot and melee to death. Next. Can't be bothered with all that stun and runnin around and such <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P>

I also open up grinding solo mobs with the ranged attacks, following with frontal melee.. its just so much faster and easier then to sneak around or suchalike. High damage attacks are neat, but in the overall damage done they don't add too much, timers are just too long. Sure there is nothing wrong starting with a condeming blade or assassination, but thats nothing you can do chainkilling mobs for drops. <div></div>
