<P>just Honed Reflexes.</P> <P>It's quite crappy, I dont understand why some people love it.. it's a mediocre self haste that lasts way too little time.</P>

<DIV>It's not too bad at all at adept3. Very few arts seem to upgrade well as buffs but this goes from 21% haste at app2 to over 40 at adept3. So if you time it with murderous focus then you get a nice little boost.</DIV>

Honed Reflexes Adept III = 41% Haste, duration 1mn21s, recast 5mn Musrderous Focus Adept I = 45% Haste, duration 36s, recast 5mn Well, imho, Honed reflexes is better. Last longer <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> both together are better but still one last 1mn21s. <div></div>

ok i'm confused. i just got murderous focus and it says "increases DPS by 45%". i opened up my character window and looked at haste it was 3. this made sense i'm wearing the ancient slayer's ringt. i cast bleeder's talent how it's 47 / 48 i don't remember exactly but i can see that the two stack. then i cast honed reflexes (app iv which is 26% haste) - i'm at 74. everything makes sense so far. then i case murderous focus - no change to haste. so this begs the question: "is murderous focus a boost to how hard you hit rather than haste? or is there some stacking issue with honed & murderous?". i suppose i can test the 2nd one easy enough and i'll try that later tonite. in the meantime if anyone knows, plese post. <div></div>

I quite like it, it definatly worth using. Usually hit honed reflexes and focus near the end of a fight jsut after i get a few debuffs on the mob then sit back and regen some power before a last blast of skills. With sbd and imbued ebon leafblade i can punch out a pretty respectable dps with those 2 skills up jsut on autoattack. <div></div>

The DPS increase boosts your auto attack melee damage. Oh so powerful :smileyvery-happy:

These haste spells are where the strength attribute becomes huge. If you are a fan of haste, then build your strength. I personally believe that a string of combat arts is just as effective (sacrificing strength for agility to build the power pool), but then there is the problem of creating a combat sequence that factors in the timers. It seems that it becomes rather repetitive. The same sequence over and over......just because of the timers.

Next question is where do I get this skill? I hear from word of mouth that it can be purchased in a tradeskill zone? If this is true is there a trainer inside the zone or what? I'm reduced to weekend playing times so I can't see for myself during the week :smileytongue:.

The Honed Reflexes is sold after completing some quest in the Tomb of Night. What is sold in tradeskill instance is only the crafting books that are new from this adventure pack. <div></div>

probably easiest to just buy an app iv version of the broker. no need to quest anything that way. <div></div>
