OK I am looking for a little info, I know I could read through the first 5-6 pages of threads here and get my info but I am just looking for a short summary if it is possible.

I started my Assassin on November 9th, the first day my server opened, then by the middle of December I got bored of him and retired him to a quiet life of tailoring, and rolled up a Guardian. Now the guild I am in has several tanks and seems a little short on Assassins so I am going to re-suit up my Assassin and head back out into the field for battle.

How about a bit of info about what has changed to the Assassin class since December 15 2004, anything would help, thanks in advance.

Honestly there have just been some bug fixes here and there but the class itself really hasn't changed at all. The big thing is poisons are more effective now thanks to the mastery level being the end of the tier rather than start now. Also assassins mark has changed so that it is now useable when back in december it didnt seem to do anything at all. Agility had a slight nerf to it but it was mainly for the high end people that could get large amounts of agility and near 100% avoidance but I don't believe it had drastic effects for a mid 20s character.

Thanks, good, all i will have to do is remember not to stand infront of the enemy and I need to remember that holding aggro is no longer a good thing, other then that I am set

As someone who was around 20 when the nerf hit, main thing is you won't really be soloing alot of heroic/group mobs. You'll have to stick to solos. That was what the change did to me mainly. Although i noticed towards the end of my levels i could take on the lowest green group mobs again.

Thanks everyone, I spent most of lastnight re-suiting myself up got some good gear, since this toone has been a very active tailor for some time now I had some coin to blow. Then I got pulled to Nek Castle with my Guardian by some friends so I never realy got back into it, but I am all ready to go tonight.

Being a tailor I thought I would try something and save myself some coin. I made myself a complete set of rare light armor and imbued the chest and leggings. I had my AQ's all done and the new rare armor blows away my AQ stuff. Can anyone think of anything adverse by going light rare instead of medium non rare?...Beside maybe loosing some AC?..

I made Cuirbolli BTW (spelling is likely wrong)..

Well, since light mitigation was upgraded by 33%, rare crafted has had higher mitigation than medium common crafted. This is even more handy at tier5 cause rare pelts cost what.. 40g each? While ebon clusters are easily 2p+. Also, with the combat revamp, using light armor will give you superior avoidance hehe Should be interesting..

I am just really impressed at my Agi at lvl 24 its 98 that I was happy about.
Message Edited by Rivelyn Cypress on 04-28-2005 11:45 AM
