<DIV>Hi guys, my assassin is lv 27 atm and iam loving the class.  I want to take my guy to 50 but i have 1 problem, it's hard to know which skills are worth getting an adept 3 or masters in.  It would be really nice if some assassin's from this forum could  advise on the usefull skills worth getting an adept 3 or higher all the way to level 50.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks</DIV>

Personally i would say dont bother till your 38 + where the skills stop being replaced, otherwise you waste your money, i myself got adept 3's of evade, evac, backstab, all of which i regret as the difference the higher grade version produces is tiny or not there at all.

I would consider getting poiseners blade (and its upgrades) , shrouded strike (and its upgrades) and ebon blade and its upgrades as well.  The first two are skills used every battle , several times in some cases and the last one usually every fight.  They are your bread and butter skills and if you have the adept 3's made when you aquire the skill it is well worth it. <div></div>

At 27 just get adept 3 assassins mark and you should be fine.  Everything else is fine at adept 1 in the short term until you reach the higher levels and the skills don't have any replacements.

Upgrade the attacks you use the most. Ignore all buffs (No point in upgrading really).

Assassin's Mark is probably the best bet by FAR at your lvl.  I agree with the other players that say "Don't get any adept3's until level 38 (that aren't AM)." Now, if this is your main toon and will be playing this toon only AND you have mined the rare yourself.. Well, that's a different ballgame.  With mentoring comes the challenge (as i quickly found out) of playing down to that level and skills.  When I first started mentoring my guildies I quickly found out that all the spells I didn't upgrade, to put it lightly, sucked and it almost made me [Removed for Content] (not that bad but you get the point i assume). Regardless, don't pay for the adept3 rare you need, but if you mine it yourself then I would say go for it if your going to be doing some mentoring. <div></div>

i havent seen adept 3's on any broker, or seem them dropped anywhere, any recommendations on how to obtain them? <div></div>

<P>You won't see many if any on the brokers cause not to many people want to take a chance at using a rare for something nobody will use and to my knowledge the only drops you will see are Adept 1 and Master 1 versions.</P> <P>If you have a rare you can contact an jeweler of your level or higher, if you don't have one and work out a deal to turn the rare into an Adept 3.</P><p>Message Edited by Hawgeous on <span class=date_text>04-19-2005</span> <span class=time_text>02:52 PM</span>

If you do manage to find yourself a lower tier rare and decide to get it made into an adept 3 when the alchemist makes the ink ask to keep the loam by-product that is created when the ink is made. You can give this to a jewler to make rare poison vials and in turn give them back to an alchemist to make Rare poisons. I have no idea how good the lower tier rare poisons are however. <div></div>

so whats an example of a "rare" item to make adept 3's - a sparkling item, or a glowing one? and it is a scholar that makes them? do they need an adept 1 book to do it? <div></div>

Those items you mentioned are NOT rare. You need Jasper for t3 if I remember right. <div></div>

rough jasper or palladium cluster. Can be pricey for a person at your level if you dont have a rich main.
