I think Khalysta is talking about the new DoT mitigations

<P>err I don't think this change is in yet <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> (judging from what Blackguard wrote anyway) </P> <P>So far the only fixed thing was the scaling based on Poisoning skill.. so they go up to 250 too.</P> <p>Message Edited by Putka on <span class=date_text>04-10-2005</span> <span class=time_text>04:23 AM</span>

<DIV>Yes and no.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Adding min skill and increasing mastery skill did adjust the damages of the current live poisons.  However since the store bought ones were affected too, it really didn't change much.  Also adding min skills scaled things better, so some went up or down.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The next hot fix supposidly will add more damage to the player crafted ones.  Once that goes in I'll update my post to reflect the new inspect data.</DIV>

<span><blockquote><hr>Putka wrote:<div></div> <p>So far the only fixed thing was the scaling based on Poisoning skill.. so they go up to 250 too.</p> <div></div><hr></blockquote>... that's what I was talking about :p   I'm happy that vendor poisons also had skill adjusted, because frankly I don't see myself shelling out more cash to an alchemist.  I like to do damage, but I don't care to pay much more than pocket change to do it</span><div></div>

me neither, but more than money the problem is all the hassle of getting these poisons. I mean, how often do you see exactly the kind of poison you want on the broker? you need a constant supply of this stuff <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Oh well, thats why I went alchemist.

How much do you charge/ pay for t5 poisons?  I find that if I pay more than a gold for a player made poison jar I am losing money vs. if i went with vendor poisons.  That also assumes I don't die at all, which with player poisons, drops it's proc/money ratio a lot more than with vendor. <div></div>

I use Disruptive Torment, on the broker I see it going for about 2 gp a pop atm, fortunately I have a kick *$%#&! alchemist in guild and since I am the only assassin in the guild he takes good care of my poisoning needs. <div></div>

<div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div>my guild is loving the debuff poisons for certain raid mobe <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> I've got some of the rare poisons made too. I am unsure how effective they are against raid mobs yet (only just picked them up) <a href="http://www.imageshack.us" target="_blank"><img src="http://img31.echo.cx/img31/4352/eq20000352ei.jpg" alt="Image Hosted by ImageShack.us" border="0" width="1280"></a> The one that is partially covered is called "Translucent ward of teh Stalwart" No idea what it does as you can see. Come to think of it "Translucent Disruptive torment" has lost its description too :S <div></div><p>Message Edited by Sarevhok on <span class=date_text>04-13-2005</span> <span class=time_text>10:06 PM</span>

<DIV>You'll find poisons on my vendor for 3gp each.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>You are right, from a cost/use perspective it is better to buy from a NPC.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>From the Alchemist perspective, there are several other things I can make that give me more coin profit per time than poisons, even at the 3gp selling price.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
