I was in stealth mode with my tracking window open.  All colors were selected (grey, green, blue,...., & red).  All creatures,NPC, & Players were in the tracking window except the reds.   Why? It doesn't matter if I am in or out of stealth. <div></div>

There has never been a reason given as to why you can't track reds or epic encounters.  However you can always use an emote like /wave mobname to see if what you are looking for is up.

From an RP standpoint, reds naturally mean that they are a higher level than you. So, maybe the dev's were trying to imply something that the mobs that are higher in level can out-wit you say by covering up their tracks. It just means your track isn't of efficient skill to actually track a higher level mob.

Did anyone take the Training option that increases your Tracking skill? If so, what was the effect? Maybe that allows you to track reds? Or track the same stuff at a farther distance? Or maybe it refreshes faster? <div></div>

It seriously annoys me that I can't at least track grey epic encounters.  I can swim around behind Dreadwake all day long, he is grey to me and I can see him right in front of my face, but I can't <STRONG>track</STRONG> him.

<DIV>Yeah, I ran around in the Bloodskull area for a couple of days trying to get Captains Ogof and Gaer on tracking for the Lightbringer quest.  I figured they were just not spawning regularly.  I finally bumped into one of them and saw he was an epic.  Then I bumped into the other one a minute later.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Julian Granger</DIV>
