RAID agro issues .. Lv 45+

<DIV>I dont know if anything has changed recently but is anyone else having issues getting agro on RAID's? Last night  for the love of god I could not get mobs off me. I almost wiped the raid several times. I did nothing out of the norm. Self buff'ed , Bard in my group... poison ( touch of the void ) . I sit with auto attack on, spamming Surviel and Evade when ever they popped and anytime Id do " Bloodthirster or even Murderous Blade " Id get instant agro. It was pathetic. All my abilities are Adept 1 - 3 so its not like my skills are [Removed for Content]. I got very frustrated, I was afriad to use any move other then sitting back with auto attack on.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Only thing I could think of, the mob we were fighting was Slashing resistant. So I was using my SBD / BoneRazor combo. Maybe the proc off the Razor has a bit of agro behind it...? other then that I have no clue.. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>any thoughts or idea's? <P>I don't really have any problem with aggro at all. I spam all my abilities as they refresh and use surveil and things are fine.  It's usually berserkers, brawlers or the swashbuckler trying to squeak out an extra 1 dps by taunting that get aggro on our raids.  One thing different is I don't bother with poisons on raids so the lack of resists could play into my favor while giving you extra aggro.  Once they are 250 skill I will once again use them which might cause some problems but simple stuff like starting out slow with your abilities can counter that.</P>

<DIV>I did notice my poison's landing a bit last night. Possibly that was the reason, It just seemed out of the norm.. Its not like I was doing ubar 2k hits where Id expect to get agro.. I was merly debuff'ing and using medium dmg hits.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks tho for the reply ..</DIV>

Another thing you have to look at is how we as assassins tend to use our abilities on raids. Our class, even though some classes can tend to out dps us over the whole fight, can put out many CA's in a quick and utter burst of damage. I know I can get 5-8 CA's in seconds. I always tend to get agro, not because I am going all out dps on the mob, but because our class involves huge spurts of damage in seconds. A couple stabs in the back will [Removed for Content] anything off. Especially if you're spamming the crap out of the abilities.

<P>I get aggro during raids. But of course I will. Assassins put out mad dps and debuff like crazy. I'm not concerned in this. If I die I die. Most the time I don't. If I get aggro I know I'm doing my job they way I should. Gives something for the tanks to do, lol. And as a earlier poster said, I to am the first one to take aggro when the main tank and the assising tank die. Awesome, that's how it should be. It lets you know that you're kickin' its butt. All in all assassins getting aggro in a raid can also be some good pointers. If you have good enough gear you can live live through most of it. We all know warloks get aggro too. But whos the first one to kick that mobs butt to save his life. You know it- assassins. Aggro may be an issue to some, but it's something I look forward to cuz I know it's comin anyways. I think I may know where the additional agro is coming from, I used to use bladefurry, but dont anymore  since it was blocknig the bloodlust proc.  Well it seems that ( the bloodlust proc ) has a bit of agro to it. Specially when it procs back to back to back.. which tonight was the case. I took note after what ability or move Id get agro and saw that each time I did infact get it, it was right after a bloodlust proc. To boot I noticed that it takes a good chunk of power in the process ... * Kinda lame * I brought this up with our MT and today he upgraded his last  taunt to adept3 ( guardian ). So well see how that works out down the road. Thanks again for all the feedback. <div></div>

<P>hrmmm, i do around 110-150 dps on auto attack,  upwards of 200-250 in a raid, and i usualy never pull aggro.</P> <P>i use ap4 evade and adept 1 surveil. i que them up every time they are able. one thing i have noticed that does pull alot of hate onto scouts is finishing ho's. now that is what i know to screw me over.  complete a few  damage ones and its on ya np lol</P>
