View Full Version : What would it take to really make us raid useful all the time?

<DIV>Even not at 100% but wanted for a raid? Suggestions? Comments? One thought is for our damage CA's make them varied on TYPE of damage (not amount) by weapon wielded? </DIV>

Great question.  It's pretty simple.  Most epic mobs are immune to slashing or piercing or both.  Give us a crushing weapon (blackjacks), like HIkarusai suggested.  Reduce the recast timers and power cost on bloodthirster, condemning blade, and assassinate. Reduce power cost on seeping wound, infected wound, and lingering blow. Make all attacks deal melee damage only.  Not piercing damage.  Let the weapons determine the damage type. Allow our attacks with debuff elements to refresh the debuffs when multiple assassins are in a raid so we don't lose out on our ability to attack when another assassin uses the same skill. Fix Massacre. Give us poisons that actually work at level 50. These are just a few things that would go a long way to making us useful in a raid situation.  As it stands now, it would only make a raid stronger to replace predators with fighters or sorcerers and that is just not acceptable.  <div></div>

We don't buff, we don't heal and we don't tank so the real usefulness is through damage.  Having high dps makes you a desired raid class and with our foundation of skills it seems we were meant for this but we just arent living up to it at the high end while we did at the low end.</DIV>
