I haven't used them but what is the recast on the first two? I would probably make my decision based on that, but of course have no room to talk as I have not done any of them.

<DIV>I'm a level 47 assassin and all those are grey to me but i chose elaa's performing slice because even at my level even that is good.  so far on non ac debuffed mobs its doing 1.2k it's gonna be nice to have another high dmg hit so i can burn down mobs even quicker!  Extreme damage attacks are the only skills that i see useful enough to use at high levels grey or not.</DIV>

<DIV>yah i agree, and its 225 sec recast our assassins blade line is 300 :p you were close tho, anyways this is what we needed it is not good DPS at all it's just good to have for if you need to burn down a mob quick we can do 3k dmg in 1.5 sec time.  If this was 1min refresh or something it would def be overpowered but it's not it's a logn recast, not good at all in overall dps so it's just another nice in certain scenario skills.</DIV>

<DIV>wish i could believe that it's a whole brand new skill as well.  but remember moorguard stated that skills training are just based off of old skills with improvements... and i am guessting that this improvement for assasin includes faster timer.  every other class out there with training skill shares the same timer with teh old skill that they're based off.  every class except for assassin.  well lets just hope for the best, maybe it's a new skill.  hopefully by the time my wife's alt reach that level, we know whether or not it's bugged or not.</DIV>

I chose: Eolorn's Neriak Slice - Requires stealth and position behind the enemy. An attack that deals very high damage and reduces piercing, slashing and poison resistance.Seems pretty good, on the same timer as Ebon Blade but is orange con instead of blue con to me at lvl 35 and hits harder than adept1 ebon blade by a good 100 on average, plus the extra debuffs are nice.Wish i'd read this before choosing, sucks that some are on different timers and some on the same. <DIV>The skills that you get via Training are Adept 2, so that's not that big of a differance from Adept 3.  The main reason I like the skill so much is because it's about a minute and a half shorter to use then the other skills in this line. Lets me use it faster and more often then normal, and it does more damage then Assassin blade (adept 1) and Condemning Blade (Adept 1) for me at level 39.</DIV>

I went with Elaa's Perforating Slice, and it doesn't SEEM to refresh quicker then AB. Also is there anyway to upgrade this thing. Seems that AB would be better in the end if Elaa's Perforating Slice is not upgradable.

doesnt seem to be faster?assassins blade 300 sec refreshellas preforating strike 225 sec refreshit still seems slow to wait 4 and a bit minutes to use it again but ive noticed its a whole lot faster than waiting 5 minutes.and for darki, there isnt a "right" choice. of corse there will allways be a more popular skill to use and that may seem right but base your choice on how you play and what would benefit not only yourself but anyone you group with aswell. if i had known that the AB upgrade was going to replace AB i would have picked the better vex skill because that would make me more verastile in a gorup situation.

I stuck with Eolorn's Neriak Slice. It's not a huge damage hit.. a wee more than ebon. But it does slashing resist drops as well as piercing. Since I'm using slashing (hatchets = fun!) I decided it would be more useful. One of these plus Insidious Cut and Vex.. Slashing resist might as well be nil <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />What sort of damage are people getting from the new backstab?

<DIV>Torment (the upgrade to vex) lowers slashing resist as well, which is why I didn't take that attack. With the extreme damage skill, I normally do 1k+ in a duo (me and a shammy) against level 38ish mobs. If it's a caster class though, I can do 1.5kish on them. I'm 40 and right now it's still better then Condemning blade (upgrade to Assassins blade) and that skill is at adept 1. Probably be like 4 more levels before condemning pulls ahead since Elaa's attack maxxed out at level 40.</DIV>
