Having trouble going into stealth in combat?

It took me a couple levels to figure this one out. When using your stealthing attacks, hit "~" when the skill is casting. This will take you out of combat and allow your stealth to take effect 99% of the time, allowing you to use your heavy hitters. I use this with both shadow and exposed attack. Have fun with that and remember to take it easy on the tanks <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
