<DIV>hey all!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>quick question, my disarm trap skill is pitifully low as per most assassins i know, its about 72 at the moment and im lvl 22, meaning it should be 100+. now, just wondering if anyone has a decent way to quickly get this skill up? are there any very easy to kill green mobs that often drop chests to train on? i'm starting to get embarassed about grouping as every time i go to disarm i'm setting off the trap and often nearly wiping the group..</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>i personally think SOE have completely ballsed up the skill anyway, imo it should be something that lvls with your skill, like track does, why not? </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>anyway, any info would be nice!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>cheers in advance</DIV>

<DIV>Crabs in Nek have a really high chest drop rate, but you can't solo those for a little while.  Beyond them, I don't know of any other particularly good spots for solo.</DIV>

<DIV>You'll find that with the longer leveling times in the 20's, you're disarm skill should start coming up alot more.  Mine was 30 points low at level 20, and now at 30, it's pretty much staying within 3 points of my max.  You just have to disarm all the traps that you can.  If you're grouped with another scout class, work out a rotation on disarming traps.  Places like Varsoons, CoB, and Edgewater seem to have alot of chest drops (22 may be a tad bit low for these areas though).  You should be able to solo skeletons and crabs in Nektulos though, or get a small group for less downtime.  Thundering Steeps is easier however with much more solo content.</DIV>

I go around and disarm other peoples chests that drop. Im sure sony will eventually do something about this but if a non scout class is soloing and a chest drops then why not? It doesnt hurt anyone.

<DIV>Like others have said, you should be able to solo the crabs on Nek beach and they have a very nice drop rate (and pretty good loot)  Also, you might want to try the cackling cadavers that hang around near the CL gate.  They dont drop as frequently as the crabs but still good for practice.</DIV>

<DIV>the problem with that is the dip[expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] tanks think theyre all tough and open it without disarming, effectively gimping our skill at it.  dumb brutes.</DIV>

<DIV>eh, don't worry about it, my disarm trap was pittifully low in the 20's as well, but post lvl 25 chests drop like mad and you have many many many opportunities to disarm them, at lvl 38 right now my disarm hasn't not been maxed since i was lvl 26-27, seriously chests drop like mad later on.</DIV>
