Poison effects?

<DIV>OK so here is a stupid question....I am lvl 22 assassin now about to ding 23 and up untill this weekend I never used poison. I decided to try it and bought some goo of some type. To use poison place it in the activatable slot next to your weapons then right click and choose use. Alterativly you can drag the slot to a hotbar and click that. You'll see a casting bar and a new icon apprear in your active spells bar then the bottle will disapear. Each bottle lasts either 12 hours or 100 procsReally all scoutws should use poisons, looking at my log it's not uncommon for a large part of my damage to come from it if it procs a couple of times in a big fight

You just have a random chance for every round of combat of procing the poison when your fighting.

<DIV>I use the Purple Sludge poison, hits for 44 a tick, four ticks. Gets resisted alot less and really helps when soloing. Nice thing is it lasts quite awhile.</DIV>

There is a poison dealer in east freeport that sales the higher level poisons. It's on the map over by all the other NPC merchants.
