<DIV>I am a lvl 10 Predator and am going to specialize in the Assassin class. However, I was curious...I see that we are able to use poisons...does that also mean we can apply them to weapons ourselves? I thought only rogues could do this. I am confused. Any help is appreciated.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>-Samurai</DIV>

<DIV>both rogues and predators can use poisons.  You buy them from the vendors or an alchemist and then use them in an activateable slot to place the buff on you.  They then last 100 procs or 12 hours.  so yes you can use it just fine yourself since both classes are skilled in poisons.</DIV>

Hehheeh apply the poisons to the blade, where you a DAoC player by chance. Aye again someone beats me too it, move it to an avtivatable slot in your inventory, right click poison, and then pick Use Item.Someone did some real good test's with poisons, you should probably browes through the past post's to read more up on the different types of piosons and your play style.

<DIV>Sweet...thanks for the info...will look for the other posts. I am thinking of making my assassins tradeskill alchemy as it would make sense being that I can use the poisons in combat. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>-Samurai</DIV>

<DIV>Are we certainthat they last 100 procs or 12 hours? I've read that in a few places, but my experience is that they last way beyond 100 procs. I'll usually proc a dozen or so times a fight, and I very rarely have to re-apply poisons before they run for the 12 hours or I die and lose the buff. Has the proc count been verified by someone or is it just assumed?</DIV>

<DIV>You're counting the number of procs, and not the number of ticks, right?</DIV>
