<DIV>Strength is supposed to affect your damage but its a pretty minor role overall it seems since you can tell little difference between a ratonga and an ogre when it comes to overall damage.</DIV>

I think most of came to the conclusion of Agil playing the more domenant role for us. NO ONE knows for sure yet. Anything you read in this message board is going to be thoery. There are many other threads in this board with the same question. Probably should check out those threads so we don't have to do it all over again.

<DIV>Str is very important it increases you attack power not only will that effect the dmg you do when you hit but it will effect the level of creature relative to your own that you can hit ! ie: 32 hitting 38 vs 32 hitting 40/41 --- str is the only way to increase that very important attack power.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Agi on the other hand effects defensive skills, def rating and the amount of power we have.....all good to have but i always take str above agi myself.</DIV>

<DIV>I'm a level 31 Ratonga Assassin, having notoriously low STR, but around 108 AGI while self-buffed.  My highest backstab is 1,044, placing me 6th on my server amongst higher level assassins.  I never have had any problems missing against higher level mobs, (I had around 75% hit rate going 30 vs. 38 mobs last night in Runnyeye even without using Swindlers Luck).  I will eat my boot if STR is more important than AGI for an assassin.</DIV>

<DIV>Maybe its STR that governs base dmg, and AGI (which is our main stat, like int is for casters) governs the Art dmg?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>No hard proof just theorizing <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

<DIV>I'm not an Assassin, but a Brigand (lvl 36).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>SaidenStorm is correct though, Strength does increase your Attack Rating (AR).  Increasing your AR will allow you to land more hits on higher level mobs.  Casting <SPAN class=postbody>Risky Advance on myself I get a boost of 26 to my AR, and see a noticable difference landing hits on mobs that are red to me.</SPAN></DIV>
