sneak Master I problem

<DIV>i got sneak mastery I today.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>i used it... but it doesn't improve my sneak at all.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>i thought that it would improve my sneak against higher con mobs... then my app iii.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>the only thing i can think of is the skill is grey... but i thought it would still improve it.  each of my other sneaks like hunt seems to have extra abilities... so stupid me... i thought sneak would still get better under mastery...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>is this not so? so any skill that goes grey, mastery won't help?  if that's the case, why ever get mastery, since most of my skills are replaced in a few levels.</DIV>

<DIV>If the skill is gray then you are past using it regardless of master status.  You can be 50 with a master sneak but it won't be any better than espionage your 45 stealth.  The same thing goes with sneak vs hunt.  Sneak maxes out at 65 skill and while master 1 will add to your overall skill its still capped far lower than what hunt will achieve.</DIV>
