Hunt vs Slipaway

<DIV>Turning off auto-attack and being out of combat are two very different things.  Just turning your auto-attack off to set up a stealth attack means you are still in combat.  </DIV>

<DIV>Slip away is not a replacement to hunt.  The hunt replacement doesnt come until 31.  What slip away does is give you a much faster speed with stealth capability.  So I mainly use it to explore areas that I am unsure of.  In other words think of it as a situational stealth and keep using hunt for your normal stealth to attack from.</DIV>

it is NOT a replacement for hunt.it is totaly seperate. You can attack from hunt, and you can see invis when using hunt. Also hunt is a beter stealth.Now, when you first get Slipaway, it says it is a non combat stealth that increases movement speed. BUT, if you use it, you find you can still attack from it (ap 1)Upgrade it to Adept 1... oh look now you cant attack from it. (stupid bugs)It also stacks with other stealth modes, which is what is really handy about it, turn on hunt or sneak, preferably hunt as its the beter stealth and you can see invis. Now turn on Slipaway and you can still see invis, are well stealthed, AND can move around with slipaway speed, oh and attack.Stealth modes are bugged, sometimes you are in stealth mode and you try attack a target and get told "you must be in stealth to use this ability!" even though you are. Ive noticed a few things seem to cause it, such as if you enter stealth mode by using shrouded strike, then turn on sneak, some reason it wont let you attack out of it (not all the time but often)Sometimes you are in stealth and someone will cast certain buffs on you and it also makes the same bug happen.
