Adept 1 Shadow Blade

<DIV>I am a level 17 predator.  Recently I was able to buy Adept 1 Shadow Blade off a nice Troll Shaman.  At the time of purchase I thought this would be a huge score for me, sadly it's not.  After scribing it I have done no more damage then before and maybe even less now.  Before I was getting hits for 120 and now I'm lucky to even break 100.  I am doing Dirty tricks before SB and I am even hitting lesser con mobs.  This is really depressing, one would think that the damage would be much more significant.  Has anyone else expierenced this?</DIV>

<DIV>Adept1 shadowblade works fine for me.  I get hits of 290+ now at 20.  Its pretty streaky in general though and can vary by a large degree.  For example at 20+ it can hit for as low as 130 but can go over 300.  The high hits are really about luck and low con mobs though do you shouldnt get overly concerned about its streakiness.</DIV>

Seems to be working ok for me. It is very variable though, anything from 100-250 i've seen at level 20

<DIV>You need to login at eq2players.com, go to your characters, and then go to the admin part and put a check mark in achievements (then you'll be able to share them, and see them without logging in yourself).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I would say it's probably a combination of all of the above (weapons, stat buffing gear, and having adept 1 all seem to help). Just keep plugging away, try not to spend yourself broke, and eventually you'll be hitting for some really nice damage. Also if yer an assassin get going on those armor quests. The cold forged stuff is really nice, and it's been pretty easy for me to find people who are working on the same part of the quest, as I believe most fighter types have to kill the exact same things as us for it.</DIV>

lol to respond to the smart poster above.. *ironic mode off*.your skills turn green, blue because you are getting higher in level. So it aint the fact that your skill are blue that you do more damage but the fact that you are higher in level that you do more damage. If you get an adept 3 for your skills so they turn orange again you will do even more damage.

The skills have a minimal skill requirement and a lvl that they are mastered imo you will do more damage closer you are to master just like with a weapon .Freak

Where an appr 1 skill can be blue when you get a master 1 it will be orange.(up to a point where the skill simply is outdated compared to your level)it's been like that on beta all timeAnyway that wasn't the fact it was about. And, even if in some EXTREME cases of getting Master scrolls (which is very rare) a con upgrades, and I have yet to see evidence of that, I assure you that when I upgraded all my skills at around level 12 from Apprentice to Adept I, NOT ONE SKILL changed color.
