Do trainers sell abilities you don't get from leveling?

<DIV>Just wondering if some trainers around town sell new combat arts and other abilities that you won't ever receive otherwise?  Or do they only sell upgrades to abilities you get through the normal course of leveling?  If they do, I guess I'll have to make a round trip of the trainers through town to see what I've been missing.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks!</DIV>
