Alright here's my question.I've been looking at Adornments to get some of my pieces that I intend on keeping a while.. And a few look pretty good, but I'm not sure how they would work with a Ranger.The + Spell Damage Adorns. I believe there is one for the hands called Scintillating Occult Stitching, adds +25 to all Spell Damage. Now, I'm looking for either tested and varifiable examples of these working or not working, and would really like a post from a Dev in answer to the question. Do the + Spell Damage adorns affect Ranger CAs that are Heat Based (Emberflames line, Precise Shot line, Lightning Strike line)?Do the + Spell Damage adorns affect Spell-like Adorn Procs (Heat / Poisons / Disease / Cold / Magic / Divine Damage Adorns)?Do the + Spell Damage adorns affect Natural Weapon Procs (something like Grizzlefazzles items)?Do the + Spell Damage adorns affect the Poison procs (In particular the Damage line of Poisons; Caustic, Hemo, Mental, Vitality)?Do the + Spell Damage adorns affect Procing Buffs (EmberSeed etc.)?If the Answer is Yes to all these quesitons.. I can see how that one adorn could really up a Ranger's DPS especially in a Raid.Example:Ranger has the Dirge Damage proc on him as well as EmberSeed.. Same Ranger has a bow with a Magic Proc, and both Melee weapons have Heat proc Adorns on them.That would be up to +25 damage for every Proc from the Dirge buff, +25 for ever proc of EmberSeed, +25 damage for every proc of the Bow's Magic hit, +25 damage for every proc of the Main hand's Heat Proc, +25 damage for every tick of the DoT from the heat proc, +25 damage for every proc of the off hand's Heat proc, +25 damage for every tick of the DoT from offhand's Heat Proc, +25 damage for Lighting Strike, +25 damage for Emberflames, +25 damage for Precise Shot.In one round of attacks, lets say the Dirge buff procs once.. Emberseed procs once.. Bow procs once.. Main hand procs once.. Lightning strike used once.. Emberflames used once.. Precise Shot used once.. that's +25 + 25 + 25 + 25 + 25 +25 + 25... +175 additional damage guesstimating, and not taking into account the DoT ticks or the Poisons. I can see that upping Ranger DPS big time!The other question is if all the above is true.. would it not be better for the Ranger to get the + Spell Damage Adorn for both Glove and Necklace (Atleast I think it was Necklace that had it as well) instead of the +10DPS?I have found it to be nearly impossible to surpass 125% haste 125% dps.. I have been in groups fully Haste and DPS buffed.. I'm talking Dirge, Monk, Illusionist, Berserker, Fury.. and the highest actual percentage I've hit is 130%.. but I only hit that once and was with all their buffs plus my own buffs running so it only lasted 10seconds.. and I'm not even sure i was actually at 130% as it could have been a display glitch, since I've not been able to do it again.. I keep getting 125-127%. <div></div>
