View Full Version : Clearification on Procs?
So adornments that used to be melee attack only, now only says attack, implying that they should proc of ranged as well. Then I hear that proc mechanism is changed and procs that are on weapons only proc of the weapon they are on.Can someone clearify? Cause this is really lame, like we didn't have enough trouble finding procs that procced of ranged before.. add to this that there are no proc adornments for bows.

If it specifies that it only has a chance to proc on all melee attacks, then it will obviously only proc when your main hand melee weapon is used.

This mechanic has been like this for over a year. Nothing has changed.

Btw, bows have two ranged "Proc" adornments. The "procs" are more like bane damage, however, in that they do damage with every successful ranged attack.

Edit: I may not need to clarify this, but just in case: For melee weapons, when doing autoattack, the innate procs on melee weapons in either your main hand or your off hand can proc. When doing a melee combat art, only the innate proc on your main hand melee weapon has a chance to proc. This is because your melee combat arts only use your main hand weapon.

Message Edited by Balerius on 02-04-2007 11:59 AM

ok, but why on earth are there 2 descriptions?.. and why on earth did they bother changing the description on adornments?
Message Edited by RabbitFly on 02-03-2007 08:11 PM

Are there any lists available of proc items (non weapons) that work of a succesful attack (bow). I'd be willing to give up some stats for a few items that proc of a succesful attack.
