<DIV>Hey guys, I just betrayed from the assassin class and I was hoping that you guys could help me out. I am part of a raiding guild on the pvp server Nagafen and my whole guild went from FP to Quenos and a lot of us are learning our new classes. If any of you guys have some suggestions as to how to raid with a ranger or what the best AA's are for rangers (pertaining to raiding) I would really appriciate it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks guys, </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Explosivo</DIV>

<font size="2">As a starting point, go the agility line all the way down to poise and max out ranged crit chance.  The other best choices in the predator tree are debatable, but many choose the int line, maxing spell crit chance and forgoing the final ability.  Others choose the strength line.  Personally, I tried both and found that the int line better matched my playstyle and gave me better dps.  With the added int and 53% spell crit, it is not uncommon for caustic to crit for 1800+.Current school of thought in the ranger tree is the multishot line down to double arrow, and the focusing line down to the final ability which gives +15% to max range, and +5% chance to hit.  Whatever is left over, I believe most are putting in the poisoning line...at least maxing out caustic damage.  Having done that, I think there will still be 3 left over (if you don't max out the useless ones in the multishot and focusing lines). You will get many varying responses to this thread, but I happen to know many who have chosen the route I've summarized above.</font><div></div>

I think for max DPS this is really the only way to go. I would go double shot but forgo the Stream of Poo and just put the points in Precise, Triple, Selection, and Rain (5 in each) to get double. Then I went 5 in casutic. Now I am going down the focusing line to get extension. As far as a DPS build, for the Ranger EoF this is the only way to go IMHO. For the predator tree, AGI and then it is argualbe strength or int but I went intelligence b/c I only really raid and most of the strength line is for melee attacks except the final ability which Poise is better so you should forgo that.</div>

<font size="2">DOH !!  I may be remembering incorrectly.  If Poise isn't the final ability in the agi line, then I referred to the wrong skill in my post.  Sorry.  My memory really stinks sometimes.  Regardless, the final skill in the agi line is a must.  I honestly saw nearly any increase at all in my dps with the final ability in the str line.</font><div></div>
