lvl 30 ranger

<DIV>I'm new to EQ2 and I have a lvl 30 ranger.  Basically i have no idea what to do next.  I play on a nagafen so i repeatedly get owned by people with much better gear.  How can i go about getting better gear? (besides simply leveling) I dont really know where to get any quests for my lvl.  I've done all the ones in crushbone. where could i hunt and quest solo at 30? You can harvest rares and try to get some mastercrafted made and some adept 3s, but you will probably get owned many times in the process.<div></div>

You should stop looking at app2 all together, its hardly worth the upgrade. Id say at a bare minimum you should be using adept 1s, and I would recomend Adept 3s. Any equipment upgrades that are better then what you are currently wearing will definately help, but again, Mastercrafted should be the minimum. If you can put the time into harvesting for the rares or buying them if you have the money.. Id suggest doing that as soon as possible.

Zek is great for questing solo and obtaining gear. I lived in Zek in my 30s, moving go the Ferrott when I was closer to 40 to do the quests near the beginning there. I don't play PvP though so I don't know how things are there. But in terms of your level, it's an excellent scout soloing zone.<div></div>
