Why are we arguing with each other? If we were arguing about Assasins or Brigands or some other class it would seem to be more constructive as we would not be bickering amongst one another. People are confused by some of the long time rangers trying to post comments on nerfing our class? (yes the post directly talks about RC but the thread title is misleading) Other people are complaining about how people were taking advantadge of an exploit and should be considered idiots for abusing it and trying to get compensated for getting screwed out of a 3-10 plat adornment in the process (excessive pricing on the bazaar server leads me to believe that the adornment could be that much). Seemingly we are not a cohesive class. We do not "band together" except maybe on some arrow issues. And even then there are people in that thread that want to make us out to look like a bunch of whiny [I cannot control my vocabulary]es. Whatever. It's [I cannot control my vocabulary] like this that makes me glad I have recently cancelled my account. I'm hoping that sometime in the future we as a class will be setup the right way and will give me a reason to come back to play my toons again. But with all this dissension going on within our own class it just makes me sad to see a great class get consumed by itself.Flame on people....Flame on.<div></div>

I don't know, past experience tells me that this is normal with the Ranger class. In EQLive, Rangers were our own worst enemy, so why not here as well. Not that that makes me happy or anything, just kinda..expected. /shrug.Merkades, 70th Ranger.Siege, Najena.<div></div>

Flame on people....Flame on. <HR> </BLOCKQUOTE> I understand what you mean but its hard for every ranger to come up with a decision as a whole, even when some rangers and I can add myself too that are sometimes to stubborn to understand the needs of every other ranger when I feel like my class is pretty good to play, all other than the money blown on arrows there really isn't any way for us all to just come up with one big idea cause everyone has their own different one. Sure it probably takes a while to come up with this idea on its own but in the end it will bring us all together. I'm sure since you only posted our 3 worst threads at this time you wouldn't happen to notice how many people made friends on here from decisions finally being solved, like this arrow situation it will be a while but when it does get solved we all will come in here and notice everyones opinion and why they thought that but for now its like running for president once you have your opinion and you think its good you want that opinion to be elected no matter what the cost. It's how this place is made.

You have to realize that everyone has an opinion. Also you take a class like ours where we have to fight and work for every bit of dps that we can do in game its no wonder that when we post our opinions and they don't get met with agreement or acceptance we tend to be ready to fight for those opinions like we do our dps. However atleast speaking for my self its never a personal thing. I may seriously disagree with someone on one issue but fully have their back on another issue the key is that for the most part our arguements tend to stay civil in nature rarely do you see people resort to name calling and insulting someone's mother. Anyway to the highlighted section of your post before anyone else can say it.... Can I have your stuff :smileytongue:

lol, youre cancelling over those threads... Sorry Azrael, I just have seen and personally written much much worse during the time I have been in the forums. While I will not do the obligatory can I have your stuff...or the dont let the door hit you on the way out...let me ask you to consider if any of the "not banding together" you witnessed is of ANY importance to the ranger class as a whole. I am one who personally didnt know about some chump way to effectively perma stun a mob (nyah nyah I called it chumpy) and I am still quite satisfied with the playability of the ranger class. I am one who personally now knows about that "tactic" and still doesnt use it and wont ever use it because I dont need to. Do I think less of anyone using that "tactic" heck no....do I care...heck no... Why do you give a crap about it...don't let the typical fighting get yer panties in such a bunch.

I'll say this... Opinions are like a-holes.. everyone has one, and they all stink. I dont really consider anything that I have posted... "agruing" with anyone. Just stating my opinion (see above) on the matter. If that happens to upset someone, then Im sorry, but I dont feel that I should be reserved in stating my opinions in fear that it might upset someone else. As someone else (Wraith) I believe said. I treat each topic differently. I have no problem with agreeing with someone in one post, and then disagreeing with them in another. It has zero to do with the person in question, and everything to do with what is being discussed. That said... there are several "tiers" of rangers out there. Each tier has thier own issues, so if an end game raiding ranger thinks we are fine... a casual raiding ranger probably wont agree with that. Just like the causal raid ranger would more then likely disagree with a part time casual, or roleplaying ranger... Add into that mix, the PvP v/s PvE rangers, and your just asking for huge debates on whats right and whats wrong with rangers. People wont always see eye to eye on things. I dont feel that any of the rangers here are "out to get" anyone else. I think that we (for the most part) conduct ourselves rather well... considering all the disagreements that happen on a daily basis. We may not band together to fight every single cause out there, but I am willing to bet you that if you polled every last ranger here with various questions... most of the answers would be the same. 1. More bows... they dont have to be ASWB but better then grizzles. 2. Arrows.. DPS is about the only place that most of the disagreement comes from. Lots of rangers dont see the numbers high end rangers put up, so they believe that we are crappy DPS.. and... we can be.. without the right bow.. so until they see it for themselves.. they believe we are. Overall, we are a very cohesive class.. its just at the moment, there are major gaps between different play styles. Leading to what appears to be chaos abound. For the record.. I never called anyone an idiot.. I said they were exploiting it, and they knew it.. huge difference. Finally, if you cancelled your account.. why do you care? why are you still here posting yet another whiney thread? If you cared as much as you seem to, why not bring this up prior to your leaving the game?

Actually, all in all, we get along fine. MOST of us agree on the important topics. SOME of us disagree because we like to argue. Fo a very long time the core community ran off all the whiner/ranters but that was quite a long time ago. Now many of us just ignore what needs to be ignored and add what needs to be added...<div></div>
