Ranger Gear Color

<DIV>Okay, Ive read a few posts here, and responded to a few, and I can see that not much has really changed over the last several weeks. More "My DPS is Borked" posts.. a "Snipers v/s Decap Post"... arrows arrows and more arrows.. blah blah blah, you call get my point. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So Ive decided that I want to change the scene here a bit.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>What the hell is with all the GREEN stuff. Yeah, I get it.. Rangers, forests, trees and green. But for the love of God. Do we have to have Green gear forever? I mean really, cant the Devs at least use a different color scheme for our gear? It doesnt have to be Orange, Purple, or Neon Pink, that would be kinda silly. But there are other colors to pick from. Black always works nicely. Greys, Deep Blues and maybe even some Red highlights. Like the glove that I have. The Gloves of Garroting. Black gloves, that seem to have an almost cloth look, with a red highlight. I love the way these look and would have prefered to see our set gear look like this. Why cant we have some different colored gear?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If anyone should be forced to don green attire for the rest of their EQ2 life I say make it Druids.. Green isn't so bad.  I still remember the quested stuff when the game first came out.  Pinkish.  Bleh.

<P>I never once complained about the color of my armor for all of KoS (well okay, maybe I did the first time I got a piece and saw the color). But I accepted that, rangers... green.. okay... But I dont want to continue to wear green gear forever. Thats just a cruel thing to do to anyone. most of us have prolly been wearing some or almost all green, for a very long time now. My first relic piece was April 2, 2006. I doubt we'll be seeing another expansion any time soon, so its safe to say that the green will continue for well over a year. Its quite likely that we'll be stuck wearing green for a good 1.5 years, and longer if we dont put a stop to it now.</P> <P>Im a DE... I just dont look good in green darnit.</P>

One of the things I miss from EQ1, the ability to dye your armor. It's been in the game for ages. My 64 Beastlord ran around in a matching set of deep indigo. Why isn't it in EQ2?<div></div>

Black just isn't very rangery to me. I like green. I wish there was armor that looked like the old EQ1 Ivy Etched.<div></div>

Personaly I don't mind the green, as I like the color, but I do agree that there should be more diversity.. as diversity is always good.. and I really thought at least one of our new sets (probably the new fabled set) was gonna look like the one on the eof cover. which IMO is just as much rangery as all green if not more.. as it is a blend of darker and lighter tones of brownish mixed in with greenish. I wont comment on the new set as I have yet to see it fully equiped, but it does seem to be more than just green (ala relic), still I will second the notion. Though I highly doubt anything will be done about it in this expansion.<div></div>

I know black isnt rangery but it looked good on my old wood elf ranger and it would look good on my ranger, if you ask me i plan to leave Qeynos here soon for good (not go to fp but stay a ranger) and just freelance, i can sneak into qeynos if i need to but its not necessary, i just always liked the idea of an evil ranger

What level are you?I mean I wore a pinkish red color most of the 60's and 70's.It looked better than it sounds lol.Now my armour is a mixture of some black,and a dull silver.But now some grey is coming in. <div></div>

<DIV>Hahah woot tell the Nesse, well I can't give much opinion with this matter, because well, I don't have any fabled green armor, which i do want because anything is better then xegonite armor.  SO if you want to help a ranger out, invite me to raids in the oasis server to speed up my acquiring fabled armor or, as a kind gift just send me your kithicor armor  as a gift of good faith and good will towards Ragingwolf, I'll be your friend forever haha.  Not like anyone would actually do that but hey I tried hehe</DIV> <DIV>~Ragingwolf</DIV> <DIV>70 Ranger</DIV> <DIV>Oasis server</DIV>
