OK so yesterday I finally hit 100 AP's after a silly amount of effort. SO this leaves me with just the adornments to get for my ranger. At the moment I have DPS mods to three items to get, but i'm uncertain what adornments to get for my weapons and bow.Current weapons are:Vyemns FangAbsolutionSarnak BowI read somewhere there's a symbol adornment that works on bows, is this correct?I'm obviously looking for the max dps adornements I can get, can anyone suggest some here please. Thanks

Not something i can confirm, but i have heard from some people, that with LU31 (due next) they are fixing (removing) the ability to have multiple DPS adornments on multislot (neck) items.

In affect, this will limit our DPS buff to 10%, as opposed to potentially 20-50%.

Ouch!!!

Im getting as much STR adornment as I can on my armour, 10dps ado on my MoA, +45 poison ado on my dualweaps and bow (yes they stack), as soon I will get better gloves than the nemesis a +1% range crit T6 ado and if I finally get the doomslayer belt a +2% T7 ado on it, additional some +6 all stats for my bp. My ear and wrists jewelery carry int ados

Im all for this change.

Yeah because there are SO many DPS items in the game compared with haste.EDIT: Well guess it's time for you to be happy, just read this on the test notes:"Items modified by Adornments will only be equippable in slots supported by the adornment (i.e. an Amulet that is equippable in wrist or neck slots will only be equippable in neck slots if a neck adornment is applied)."OH well back to a crap 10% dps adornment rather than the 30% dps buff I was hoping, which would have even'd out the complete lack of +DPS items in the game.
Message Edited by valleyboy1 on 01-22-2007 11:55 AM

Because if it was meant as a neck adornment, and worn on the wrist, its no longer a neck item now is it? As far as I was concerned, it was an exploit.

I said from day one, when I first heard about rangers doing this, that it would be fixed... NOT NERFED mind you, but fixed. You can thumb through the forums if you wish, but I promise you its there. I warned ppl, but they pretty much just said.. oh well, it'll be extra DPS till the fix.

Anyone that didnt see this coming was just fooling themselves. Im just surprised it took this long.

As for me being happy? It has nothing to do with my being happy about it. I'll be more then willing to step up and say when I think rangers need a dps boost. I have on many occassions. However, for now, the time of crying about our bad dps is... well.. behind us. At least for the moment.

Edit:

For those that feel that they should be reimbursed for this. It was an EXPLOIT. So no, you dont need to be reimbursed for it. You knew you werent wearing that multislot item in the right slot!

Message Edited by TerriBlades on 01-23-2007 06:10 PM
