Any ranger will want the AGI line for it's +ranged crit chance %After that it can depend alot.. most raiding rangers go the int line for poison dmg, many others go str line for melee crit and faster big shots.Anyways the AGI line will give you crit %, a stun knocback (point blank shot) and in combat runspeed.. all which are important if you want to shoot things from afar<div></div>

It all depends on what you are going to do with your ranger. Will you be soloing, grouping or raiding mainly? The balance of what you do will influence your AA path considerably.Personally I went down agi path and put 8 points into ranged crit (22% now), then took extension path in ranger AA tree for more crits. The rest I will put into INT line and poisoning line on ranger AA path for extra DPS boost during raids.

Extension ability from the Ranger tree is also very nice. It gives +15% to ranged distance and +5% chance to hit. That distance plus the 35% faster speed from the AGI tree is very lovely. Usually I can solo mobs without them even touching me.

Like the other posters have stated it really depends on what you are going ot be doing with your Ranger. If you PvP your AA tree will look alot different than if you PvE. With that said , I am going to assume PvE for you since that is what I know since that is where I play<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />I raid and group so I went Agi line to the end with 8 pts in ranged crits. Then I went poison line with 8 pts in spell crits. I then filled the double attack line (minus Stream of Pooh). I am now going 5 points in Caustic and then filling the rest to get extension. If you solo, you might want the str line since you will be meleeing alot. If you tank, you might go stamina lineGive us an idea of how you are going to be playing your ranger and we can get more specific. Regardless, you are going to prolly want the AGI line.<div></div>

NO POISONS!? holy heck lad you don't know what you are missing, I barely started using poisons in my mid 20's thats when i finally learned about them and they increased my dps so much i just decided to be a full time alchemist on the side of  my adventures. Trust me poisons are something you want to get if you can't make them and have a guild im sure some alchemist in your guild could make them, they are really great dps increasers especially since you can go down the poison crit chance line it really increases your dps.
