<DIV>These items are expensive, and i'd rather not play trial and error with the little plat I have left. I would be gratefull for some advice and or recommendations as what to use on each slot item. Do you guys think stats buffs are better that procs or vice versa, are there any no brainers, you know must have items. I'm at the point where I rarely use new equipment, just need better legs and boots, so i'll personally hold off the adornments for now on these items, but recommend them anyway <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Not sure if there has been a thread about this topic before but search came up empty.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thx again.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Dom.</DIV>

<DIV>Sorry - Level 70 Raid equiped Ranger</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I have +12 Piercing Adornments on both DW weapons and Bow, and no others at this time. I am unsure how they work to be honest versus the proc type adornments.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I assume If an adornment procs for say 250 damage on average 1.8 times per min then 250 x (1.8 / 60) = 7.5 dps extra</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>seems straight forward?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now with my DW weapons I assume its like this (but not sure)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>2 weapons x (+12 piercing / 1.5 sec delay) = 16dps extra (if just autoattacing) If using CA's I assume it just adds 12 to what ever damage the random number generator spits out. So say its a 2 sec cast combat art I assume its 2 weapons x (12 / 2sec )= 12dps extra on that particular combat art.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>and I assume the bow works in a simlar way? i.e. 1 weapon x (12 / 6 sec delay) = 2dps extra per autoattack</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As you can see I use the ASSUME word way too much, some clarity on ths would be much appreciated. In addition please post which adornments you guys have chosen to use and on which armour/weapon/jewelery pieces.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Many Thanks</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Dom.</DIV>

<DIV>If you want to skip the middle man and go right for the better adornments (and some of the most expensive) i can recommend:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Scintillating Judious Claspx2 (+10 dps mod) stick one in your neck AND if you have DT access item, stick it in there and wear it on wrist</DIV> <DIV>Scintillating Sinew (+12 piercing or 12 slashing) i have one of these in my bow and the upgrade is solid</DIV> <DIV>Scintillating .... something, cant remember the name but its a +1% crit mod to waist slot</DIV> <DIV>Scintillating .... another one i cant remember but its +6 to all stats for chest</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>From what ive seen those are some of the "must-have" adornments, other than that just stick +14 str or +14 int in all of your other slots. I was very pleased with the results, although i was quite poor afterward :smileysad:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Most of my adornments where made from Armorer, Jeweler, Alchemist, and Woodworker made my bow adornment. If you have a T7 transmuter that can help you, go get some T7 treasured gear for him/her to break down into the basic component of these combines. For the legendary/fabled adornments your going to need Illusionary Powder(legendary) or Infusion of Illusion(fabled), which comes from the same kind of gear, so you might have to burn a few masters. This might be slower but its less expensive than just buying the adornment straight up (unless your into instant gratification :smileyhappy: )</DIV>
<div></div>The waist adornment is t7 fabled, called <a target="_blank" href="http://www.deadzed.com/pe/wiki/index.php?title=Scintillating_Fast_Action_Buckle">Scintillating Fast Action Buckle</a>also there is another +1% ranger crit, it is the hand slot t6 fabled, called <a target="_blank" href="http://www.deadzed.com/pe/wiki/index.php?title=Lambent_Fast_Action_Stitching">Lambent Fast Action Stitching</a>I suggest going <a target="_blank" href="http://www.deadzed.com/pe/wiki/index.php?title=Category:Adornment">here</a> it doesn't have all adorments yet, but it still is pretty good.Other than that, the dps ones are nice, as mentioned you can use them on neck, wrist items to get the bonus on more than 1 slot. Also I think the 14str to shoulders and legs are pretty neat as well.<div></div>

also other adorments that are interesting for rangers:+14 intelligence on earring (pair of those add 28 point to int... very good <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> )+14 strength on leg piece and shoulder items (pair of those add 28 str .. good too <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> )+100 power on hood... well not to shinny but usefull if you are part in very long fights and often run out of power... usefull in some situations+14 agility on boots ... well not so usefull but it isnt costly so you can grab it if you are good on cash (should be around 1-1.5pp max) those dps adorments other mentioned are must have really to get some decent dps...no idea if 1% to ranged crit chance on waist and gloves stack if yes you should grab bothanother thing is 2points to haste on waist adorment stack with haste items like cloak of flames, not much but every point count does it? (im atm at 72 points haste self, so 71% all the time) <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

<div></div>Bah, reading the whole thread b4 posting...priceless. I saw another posted said what I said<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Not sure if anyone knows this but + DPS adornments stack. I put the +10 DPS adornment on my Mark of the Awakened. Then moved my DT amulet into the neck slot and adorned that as well and then moved it back to my wrist. So now I have my mark at 10% on my neck and my DT amulet at 10% on my wrist. Combine this with the Marr cloak and the imbued strength ring and I am at 51% DPS self buffed most of the time. This has done wonders for my DPS.<div></div><p>Message Edited by bentgate on <span class=date_text>01-15-2007</span> <span class=time_text>01:48 PM</span>

Odd. I remember reading that MoA was not adornable, or at least it didn't stay on it. I'd check it again, and make sure it didn't go away. Please confirm.<div></div>

The +Pierce and + slash are exaclty that, every time you hit you get the base dmg increased by 12. Put the maths away.<div></div>
