amazing. On the day they do this:

Update Notes: 5th January 07

*** Gameplay ***
- The named epic encounters within the Inner Sanctum should now be dropping their proper set armor pieces.

Rangers finally get 2 set pieces on the same day. Nice.

Re: ranger armor set, i've seen 4 pieces (includes the bp and leggings from beta), none have INT stats. Let's hope we see some with the remaining pieces.

... and great effort from AfflictedOne and those involved in showing SOE the drop rate numbers, i think that certainly helped highlight the problem and brought about the change.

*whisper* Kobal, it's time to take Axkiva out of the mothballs. :smileywink: You'll be happy with the new changes.

Is it just me or does it look like those individual pieces are only useful as resist gear until you get the whole set? A number of pieces have only 2 stats (albeit reasonably high) and I've not seen any INT on there yet.

Mirdo.

The stats are atrocious, one primary stat we need with junk we don't. Stamina, Wisdom we can do without. When you're a primary range fighter you shouldn't be worrying about upping wisdom by 10 or 20, same with stamina.

Look at the 4 stats Nemesis gear gives out and you can almost cry. We should be getting the same gear stats as Troubadors, Str, Agil, Int in raid zones. Since this is raid gear that drops from raid mobs it should reflect the needs of raiding rangers.

To the suggestion just add some int adornments? Only 2 pieces of armor take int Chest which at the best level is +6 and wrist. [I am not counting jewelry the only other thing that takes int as our armor pieces] Just checked the complete adornment list.

Message Edited by Hisvet on 01-10-2007 08:47 AM

Well, I'm pretty sure that a number of other raiders that have, like me, taken the INT line will already be using INT adorns. You can lose a large chunk of INT by equipping that class armour. I'm not sure the focus effects would make up for the loss of that INT from a number of armour slots. It's good that we have the choice I suppose, but unless the combined focus effects make a huge difference I would be swapping it in and out for resists mainly I guess (and possibly wearing around town if I ever picked up a full set )Mirdo.

I'm glad to see the new armor finaly dropping. Does anyone out there have a screenshot of the chest or legs? I'm even more interested to see what the new bows look like. I heard the Nature's bow of the Stalker was underwhelming, what about the Star Darkened Longbow?

I don't think so Kowen, but I could be wrong. If I remember correctly, there was a dev post somewhere that specifically talked about this. When using ranged combat, only the 'Ranged' skill has an impact on chance to hit.

Correct.
