I've just received a free upgrade for one combat art to Master II. My question is, which ones will remain useful the longest? Are they all replaced eventually, even Hunter's Instinct? Or will some, such as Shadow Leap and Bleeding Cut (two of the other possibilities for this upgrade) still be in use at high levels?I'd hate to waste this on something I'll stop using at 20th level.

Most spells/ca's are replaced around ~14 levels. So you can pick the CA which is most useful to you, or the CA thats the highest in level of the picks.

Thanks. I'm beginning to get the idea that there are relatively few choices that can utterly cripple a character in EQ2. It's a refreshing change from every other MMO I've played.

I would go with Hunter's Instinct or Shadow Leap. Shadow Leap is nice for a high damage melee attack, especially since we have very few bow attacks early on. Otherwise Hunter's Insinct will last at least 14 levels, if not more while you are saving for or even hoping for a M1 upgrade to pop on the broker of the next tier CA. The MII and even M1 CA's will be better than APP IV and even AD1 (in the case of MII) upgrades of the next tier in most cases.

Message Edited by sr22ger on 12-28-2006 09:02 AM
