I was looking at my AA's last night and I was wondering does the str line actually give more dps then the Int line ? Or is the Int line for raiding only? I am level 56 with 32 AA point AGI is 4/4/4/5/8 and str is 4/4/3 so far. In theory with the added poison damage from the INT line would it more dps ? <div></div>

I think the str line would give you more dps simply because for the poison to do dps it has to proc, you know your hits are gonna land.<div></div>

<DIV>I disagree i actually have a ranger buddy in my guild who went the str line and i had tried it and and decided to go int. I fyou use good casutic poison  int line seems to be the way to go for dps. even with the decrease in timer for sniper shot its relatively useless still especially if you raid. Raid of arrows decrease is nice to have but from what i saw isnt worth it.  Just my 2 cents though im sure others have had diff experiences also in the next tree you can boost caustic dps.</DIV>

If you solo the strength line would be better IMHO. You will be meleeing alot soloing so the melee crits and the opening blade will help a great deal. The int line is really for people who can buf ftheir int above 200. Only raid buffs can do that and raid gear. If you sit at 40 int - raising it to 70 or 80 is not going to make much of a difference. In raids I sit at 300 Int and my caustic hits for 1100 and crits for 2000. I dont think int line would help the solo'er unless you look at nuerotoxic coating as a nice buff for melee. If I was solo, I would go like this:Agi: 4, 6, 4,8,1 = 30Str: 4, 4,4,8 = 20Or you could go:4,8,4,8,1 agi4,6 Sta for AoE4,8 StrI dont think the intelligence line will help the solo'er that much.<div></div>
