Since you mention "spending points" I will assume you mean the AA charm and not the Hawk Dive pet. Imo, don't bother with it. If you solo, there are other AA paths to take that would help more (improved snare % or longer duration root on lunging joust), or even just straight up dps. Pets are just another situational so-so skill, unless you are not restricted by type of mob and where you may find it (as we are with animals). And have buffs for said pets.If you really want to solo well, gte the Rain Caller done asap when you are high enough level, until it gets nerfed, it is just uber. I use it whenever I solo named and higher conned heroics rather than my normal raid bow (and pick up groups where my MT is not similarly geared/mastered and/or buffed for aggro).Since it is a final ability we can easily compare it to the other two most picked ones (a guess, though I am fairly certain). Double attack is a 10% chance to hit twice with you bow, if it works, great, but it will not always go off, in fact most of the time it won't. Extension is a 15% range increaser and 5% hit chance modifier. Not bad at all since you are more likely to hit and have room for perhaps that next CA to land. I always start off soloing maxxed range (it adds about 5 meters) so I am looking forward to that (I have double attack right now because I mostly raid).Mainly though, get the Rain Caller, I swear it will help more than anything you can do aside from having arrows to actually use it.Merkades, 70th Ranger.Siege, Najena.<div></div>

i solo a lot and i reccomend that you go down the agi line AA path at least until you get the 8 points for cast time reduction. it's a huge benefit when soloing.

@pinkdove80 - Yes, that is why I said "when you are high enough level". Considering that this person appears to be talking about the AA charm anyways, it will require a good what, 20 AA minimum to get it? And going EoF AA before KoS AA is, imo, not a good thing. Also, leveling is not hard, it would not that that much time for anyone who tries, especially if they group, and this person said they do both. The way I see it, you won't stay low level forever, so tactics now won't necessarily be what you use when you are maxxed level, but until the RC gets nerfed, I doubt it will ever leave the soloers inventory no matter the level.Merkades, 70th Ranger.Siege, Najena.<div></div>
