<DIV>I've had Double Attack for awhile, and to be honest, it hasnt impressed me too much. Its nice to have 10% (passive) bonus to ranged (only) attacks and it does work .. but, it's not the dps benefit i was hoping it might be.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I got Extension the other night, and i've been really happy with it. The 5% (passive) bonus TO HIT with ranged is noticeable over a zonewide parse. The 15% bonus to ranged on bows is very nice. Amounts to just over 40m with a 35m longbow. Which can put us out of range of some AE encounters if you want to fight at ranged only.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Haven't sat down to thoroughly compare the figures with pre/post Entension for all zones, but from an initial impression i'm very impressed with it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'd like to hear from other rangers on their experience with either/both.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV><p>Message Edited by Gerdos on <span class=date_text>12-24-2006</span> <span class=time_text>02:20 PM</span>

<P>I haven't gone over the parses after I received Double Attack, but I have noticed that my ammunition consumption has increased. All in all, I am happy with this skill: its not like some of the KoSky lines that give a nice final ability with lackluster prerequisites; the multi-shot line is all useful.</P> <P>The same is true for the line that gives Extension. The seemingly marginal increase in some of the buffs is actually very useful - especially with Focus Aim - and even the decrease in defensive stance penalties is nice when soloing or switching stances when you pull aggro. I have yet to get Extension, but I am looking forward to it just for the increase chance to hit.</P>

<P>I would have to agree that I didn't see quite the bump in dps I expected w/ 10% dbl atk. But the other night I got some time with our illusionists 25% dbl atk buff. Ohh man all I can say is it's incredibly beefy. I was topping the parse constantly and with little effort. It's nice to see a ranger hitting that 2k-2.5k range.</P> <P>I can't wait to finish out Extension, as I'm pretty sure my #1 problem is my frequent missing. But I got to say if you can get an illusionist in group, get your deagros ready...you will actually need them.</P> <P>- Katsugen</P>

I noticed double attack now and again, throw up focus and with Sarnak i'm smirking to myself when I see two 7k+ hits pop over the mobs head lol.Aint grouped with a illusionist with the new offensive buffs, that sounds fun.

<P>ok looking a few parses i seem to be hitting the mob more then having it parry or block so extention seems to help so far</P>
