Would you buy the warbow if you had the money?

If you have the plat...i would buy it...its so freaking rare i have never seen it drop....as an assassin if it would drop i would lobby we keep in guild bank if no ranger pressent in raid....

<div></div>I'ts a moot point for me, seeing as I'd be about 160pp short. But if there's any item I'd consider spending that much plat on, it's that Sarnak Warbow. If I were to see it drop on a subsequent raid, so be it... that just means our guild would now have 2 rangers/assassins armed with that thing.What's really interesting about this is that someone is actually selling it on the broker!<div></div>

I think that you will see that it was money well spent.  I have gone from doing ok damage 1000-1200 or so to doing 1600+ on almost EVERY encounter... including long named fights.  In all honesty, the longer the fight is, the more this bow shines.  In a raid where you can hit for 4-8k ever 5 secs or so, you can see how it will add up quickly.  The fights I end up parsing low are when my Combat Arts are down and the mobs die too quickly to get a couple auto attacks in.  Grats on the nice bow... you will definitely enjoy it for a long time to come.

I have considered using the Sinew wrapped for very short trash fights as it's damage output in short bursts is more reliable than the Sarnak. However, for boss fights and high HP trash, Sarnak has a chance to actually fire more than twice and let the RNG even out <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P> <P>In the end I just use the Sarnak all the time because I am a lazy Ranger <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P> <P>Mirdo.</P>

It puts rangers where they should be,near/top of parse(dependant on grp setup).
