Ranger Fabled Set not in game yet ... ?

... or is it just so super rare that no single piece of it is discovered yet!?I have seen items and discovers of almost all class specific fabled set items yet. I have looked on eq2players page for them, but have not found any ranger item.I know the bp and legs from the beta links and so know the names of the items to look for... am i missing something or did they forget to put them in!? o.O

From what Ive seen, the mobs that drop class specific gear have more then just class specific gear in their loot tables. So that means that theres more then 24 different items in their loot tables. Since they only drop 1 item, the set pieces are going to be extremely rare, and I think its going to be some time before all the pieces have been discovered.

You do not understand the point... ALL (or at least one piece) other sets have been discovered... but there is NOT A SINGLE one of the ranger set worldwide! How many raids are going to kill the mobs, that can drop set pieces every week? Must be like a win in the lotto to NOT find one piece of ranger set...

I understand completely, what you fail to understand is how RNGs work. How long did it take you to get Sarnak? Bazkul? Ichorstrand? The loot tables for those mobs is no where NEAR as big. In some cases I'd say at least twice the size.

I am not complaining about how long it took for ME to get those items, but how long it actually takes until the FIRST ranger set item WORLDWIDE is discovered cause almost every other set is discovered yet. My guess is something has to be wrong with this set or the loot table.

Actually I have to say I'm kinda concerned about this myself.As far as I can tell there have been no drops for either of the predator classes.  Which can be blamed on the RNG except for one thing.  SOE has done this before.  And I'm not talking about not having items in the game but putting certain classes equipment on different mobs than other classes.  If you remember back to DoF the rogue/bard breastplates were dropped from the godking and the predator breastplate dropped from DMP which was the toughest encounter in the game by a longshot.  So what I can see happening is some class armor be in the instances and others be dropped from avatars and contested.  I hope this isn't the case but if all class armor drops in instances then what could these contested drop that would be worth having?  Surely not more armor.I really hope this isn't the case but as the days go by without having a piece found I'm leaning more and more this way.   Personally I think the way class armor was done was a bad idea.  Seeing as how it's been a little over 4 weeks since release and my guild has seen 4 troubador hats drop.  There really has to be a better way....<div></div>

I'm with Safana, but it's not paranoia, it's INSANITY! I play a DPS class so I can do exactly that, but when they think about leaving me out of raid because I am not geared, and cant keep up on teh charts with the other classes....THAT'S annoying.

Also you have to consider the amount of guiilds that are raiding these upper t7 zones and beating mobs that drop eof set armor since not all of the can drop these pieces. on top of that you have to hope that people who  get the gear and actully decide to post. this post is kinda depressing but very true.Havent heard from anyone across a number of servers that have seen either ranger/assasin fabled set drops.In saying this we recently got a server first on a warlock hat and had no warlock on raid...so 'tip of the day leave rangers outside and not in raid'.Just hope that the zone knows u aint there and feels like being extra nasty to raid force and drops your first piece <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> In all seriousness 2 months and not 1 piece disco....wat is going on <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>

Ok, so SOE *fixed* the loot tables, and all the not yet discovered items are dropping like candy.... think there's nothing to add...Thanks SOE for fixing this problem two months after release LOL
