<DIV>I was just thinking about some stuff in a different thread about how we can improve rangers, and maybe this could apply to the whole scout class (and yes, for both PvE and PvP) but I was thinking that they should change the way stealth works. What I mean is, personally, if you are stealthed, I think you should be completely invisible until you attack, even to your allies. It's not like anyone NEEDS to see where you are in PvE, they certainly aren't going to cast spells on you that they can't cast on you anyway if you are grouped. In PvP, once you get within a certain distance, you can see the stealthed person...how is that being stealthed? I could hide behind a rock, but if someone came to the other side, they could see me even if I said "I'm completely invisible, can't you tell? I'm behind this rock, now stop looking at me!"</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also, assassins always seem to be able to find me before I can find them, like their stealth allows them to see farther or something because all I ever see of them is just a shape popping out of thin air, a blade and fire, lots of screaming and crying and then I have my choice of revive points hehe. Honestly, it's the perfect way for their class to work, and although I despise most of them, I think they play their class beautifully. But should I be able to see them and they be able to see me if we are both invis and not on the same team? I would say no. Being an elven ranger, I should blend seamlessly with the environment and be impossible to find until I want to be found. Yes, it might be unfair to people who can't invis...but they already can't see me unless they are close to me, which I try to avoid anyway. I dunno, maybe it would be too much now that I'm writing and thinking about it, but I'm still interested in what others think.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Oh, and obviously see invis buffs would still have to work, and perhaps it shouldn't work the same for mobs, but why would another player need to see you if you are invis? This seems to me to be one of the things that we get that could be a tremendous advantage to our class, but the way it stands, unless I can shadow someone from a good distance until they stop to pick up a shiny or harvest, and no one else happens to be around, then it really doesn't help me at all unless I am trying to get into a certain spot where mobs are aggro but can't see invis.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So, what do you think?</DIV><p>Message Edited by Taekwondo on <span class=date_text>12-07-2006</span> <span class=time_text>03:09 AM</span>
