Hello everyone! I am about to start playig again and I am hesitating between two classes Ranger and Swashbuckler. I work night shifts which means I will most probably end up soloing a lot. Which one would be better at soloing?

I forgot to mention I want to remain in Qeynos so if you have any other scout class to suggest pick one on the light side! :smileyvery-happy:

I am playing a Ranger, I can solo alright, but I think Swashbuckler *may* be a bit better. Ranger do most damage in ranged, and well... most
mobs have that weird tendency to run towards you. If you really want scout, I guess both are ok, but my Ranger-experience shows it is a class
more for grouping. But its a funny class, not easy to play, but fun. If you want to solo a lot you may consider Paladin. I played a Pally a long time,
and with the healing spells he is quite independent IMO. Naturally Scouts have invis, you can get around easier, which is good for quest soloing.

You can solo with all, try to chose what you like the most. I think Ranger needs a bit more tactics and planning than Swashy as far as I can say.

I've solo'd my Swashy pretty much the whole way to 35. They are easy to solo at least that far. Adds are not a problem because of their AoEs and their Mez. They can handle groups much more efficiently. They, as a whole, are much easier to play. But they are no Ranger. I don't think there is nearly as much pride in being a Swashy as being a bowmasters
