<div></div>So I had it for a couple of days but haven't had time to try it out more yet but now im taking my time so I went mob hunting. Found a suitable dire wolf lvl 68 +++ in loping plains coning blue +++ so I gave it a whack.1st attempt: was very close he was in the red but I managed to attract and add halfway thru the fight and that costed me so long story short it ended in a puddle blood and various ranger parts being torn from my body I think he ate my head too.2nd attempt: not nearly as succeful as the first one didn't get lucky enough snare got resist alot he again he was the victorious one. 3rd attempt: Lets just say Kobolt is having wolf for dinner =DForgot to meantion the Rain Caller is freakin awesome<div></div><p>Message Edited by kidpaul on <span class=date_text>11-28-2006</span> <span class=time_text>10:52 AM</span>

I agree I finished the HQ last night , unfortinately the DR is too much of a down grade but the bow is awsome for the right lvl. The grafic is awsome, love how the string rains! Just with this was a lvl 67 fabled HQ bow : )

I use grizz on raids for the shorter delay but raincaller when i solo for the stun proc</div>

Sure I could have used the Grizzle but the thing is I didn't have to work to much with the Rain Caller to kill the mob while trying with the Grizzle it is a constant struggle to snare, root, pbs, stun and using our ranged snare. but with the Rain Caller I burn down the mob much quicker and easier cause of the long stuns aslong as they keep procing and it is kinda handy in grps to I have noticed.<div></div>

This bow is great for soloing, I even use it grouped 'cause I like the look, but will swap it out for a bow with a higher DR for epic mobs.Nice to have a ranged HQ reward that is very useful. I suppose it will get nerfed.<div></div>

Why would this get nerfed? I dont see any grps containing 4 rangers 1 tank and a healer runing around using 4 Rain Callers basicly chainstuning the mob the entire encounter. oh no now I have given them ideas just kiding im not worried the bow isn't overpowering in anyway and if they say that well then I want to see that conjours, necros, illusionist and coercers become unable to solo the same area.<div></div>

The only Nerf it needs is to have the stun proc not affect Epics.    Since right now if you have a couple of them in the raid it'll keep a mobs stun immunity up almost the whole time rendering alot of your enchanters utility during a bad damage spike worthless. <div></div>

<font size="2">Against epic encounters, I think it would take more like 4 or 5 (or more) people using Raincaller to effectively chain-stun a mob.  That still isn't a very high number, as in our raids we usually have about that many people using bows by the time you include the assassins, zerkers who aren't tanking, etc.The very first time I used it, I couldn't help but think to myself "Wow, this thing will be nerfed soon."</font><div></div>

<DIV>As long as it's available on PvP servers, it'll always be under the threat of nerfage.</DIV>
